Isola says he had an MRI a few days ago that came back negative. Hopefully it was just aching tonight. He should take Detroit game off. OKC is the next night.

He says his knee hasn't been right for a few weeks but the MRI came back clean.

Makes sense that his shot hasn't been falling.

He should rest. Even if he takes a week off. Just get right. You know he has Denver circled on his calendar next week though.

During Knick extra, A Cav reporter said Melo indicated that his knee has been bothering him for weeks....

Yeah he should really take a couple of games off. Can't risk overworking the guy now if they haven't already

I have been worried about that since it happened. I hope it isn't a situation like shump last year.

He has to get it right. Look at how Rose pushed it last year and then tore his ACL. Hopefully he wears a brace or something when he gets back.

Agree. The thing is his shot hasn't been falling so he has forced things and gotten to the line a lot more. That wear and tear has to be breaking him down.

I wonder if Woody considers playing him at the 3 some doesn't bang as much down low.

We all know that he doesn't have that much lift or great explosion but the lack of explosion he has been displaying has been greater these past few months. There was a time a month ago when he was dunking through traffic now he looks awkward on fast breaks.

All I know is I expect a 40 plus game when he returns. Every time Guns say he is done for the year he returns with a big game. Hello OKC.

Knicks down by 20 when he left. I only caught the second half. Cavs were horrible.

Thought TKF must have been enjoying the game like porn. And NYMentality was going to do a lot of writing as he always does after a win.

I hope Moob's is ok. Im thinking our upside is better with him!

LOL, saw some similar comments on the other board.

and double LOL with your NYMentality comment. He sure can write a lot. I think he has a database of possibilities to pull from. But he does help me to see some light.

Why would Woodson play Melo 40+ min knowing that he had some knee problems? I have to assume he knew since I doubt Melo got an MRI undercover. You'd think the Woodson would watch out for players with knee pain since he already has 2 guys with restricted minutes for that reason.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Exactly Woodson plays 40 every single game. Unfortunately we dont blow anyone out anymore so guys like melo and tyson are being run into the ground. Hopefully they are good to go for the playoffs not drop like flies as they did last year in april

RonRon and NYKMentality; separated at birth?

Melo should exercise his Mooby status and inform his Dad/Coach that Pop might be on to something with his selective Duncan treatment. Maybe he lets Cope out of the doghouse on the Pistons, and Melo tries the knee at home against OKC? Focusing on the upcoming western death march is important, but I'd really like a win against Durant/Westbrook.

Yeah, I know; win the war. Beating Miami twice hasn't helped us much.
