Lets extend the winning streak and play consistent defense for a convincing W.

I know this team has the talent to blow the Wizards off the court.

Including a 10 points win over our Knicks. Time to revenge that loss while making it three consecutive heading into our Miami Heat matchup come Sunday. Our Knicks need to come out focused and hungry, while worrying about Miami later on. But tonight is the night to focus on a young/athletic Wizards team.

They would have been a 41-41 team if they'd been healthy from the start of the season. They've put together some good wins against good teams lately. They're not great but they are pretty good.

We need to beat them though- Miami will be looking to reap vengeance upon us on sunday now that they are playing better. I'd feel better going into that game with a win tonight.

This is a huge game. Mostly because I will be there. Got hooked up with a good seat. Down in DC for work.

Seriously though, the Knicks need to sprint back on D. Wall is going to kill them like last game if our big guys are jogging back. I don't consider Wthem pushovers, but it's a game we should win.

Seriously...the last knicks/wiz game made question whether I even wanted to go to this one. The lack of effort made me regret making the drive into DC. Effort is not too much to ask.

I have an 1.5hrs to decide whats worse...make the 3 hour round trip to DC during rush hour or suffer through the wizards broadcast.

Is it just me or do the Knicks play a lot of Friday games?

This will be the 12th Friday game we've played this season. We've also played 10 games on Sundays and Wednesdays; 7 games on Thursdays; 6 games on Mondays; and 5 games on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It makes sense and my guess would be most, if not all teams, play a plurality of their games on Fridays or Saturdays. It's a lot easier to get people to go out to a game that won't end until after 10PM if they don't have to go to work/school the next day. Wednesdays and Sundays are when ESPN and ABC broadcast the national games so it makes sense we'd be playing a lot on those days and Sundays are usually matinees so fans don't have to worry about Monday morning.

Thanks for this I actually didnt know where to find out. It just sucks cause the Knicks for a while now have put of terrible performances on Fridays and yet we play so many Friday games.

We all know who to blame for that: Robert Randolph

Knicks need to make a statement this weekend. Win tonight against a team they are suppose to beat. Then on Sunday beat the Heat for a 3rd time. If the Knicks play well this weekend then I will start to buy into them again. I was very excited teh first 6-7 weeks on the season then they went on this 2 month tailspin. Hopefully they play inspired and make a statement against the wizards and the heat

Hell yes.

If the Knicks were to go 3-0 against Miami?!? It would be too funny as fans talk about the Bulls going 3-0/Houston going 2-0 against us.

I'll just mention 3-0 against Miami and 2-0 against San Antonio.

Wonder how they'll take it... But yea, I fully expect wins over both the Wizards and Miami.

Jason Kidd not starting tonight, Woodson says. James White will.

James White will start tonight, replacing Kidd. Woodson said he prefers Kidd w/ball in his hands, so he's effectively the backup PG now.

Interesting change of philosophy. Saying that Woody believes Kidd is still a PG and not a SG. It's gonna be an interesting experiment to prove what is best for Kidd and the Knicks the rest of the way.
