2 1/2 games out of the #6 seed. 4 1/2 away from the #7. If don't stop the bleeding soon, we're going to erase everything that that early season start did.

I don't think it's possible we'll slip lower than #7, but it's a major concern. Not getting 50 wins would be lower than my expectations heading into this season. Talk about underachieving.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Wow. Oh My God. We're the 3rd seed and .5 games back of the 2 seed 52 games into the season. The sky is falling. The sky is falling.

How many players on our current Knicks, weren't here last season? Serious question. Please answer, unless you're clueless in that regard... Once again, how many players on our current Knicks team weren't here last season, but yet we're the 3rd seed?

O.M.G... The sky is FALLING!!! lol

Dolan purges the roster every few months. That has been the excuse used for about a decade now.

NYK I really do like you as a poster. You have a massive passion for this team and, coming from a pessimistic fan, I envy your positive outlook. However, just a days ago you were countering everyone by stating we're the 2nd seed. Now that we're not, you wanna brag about being the 3rd seed? Being the 3rd seed wouldnt be so bad if it didnt happen as a result of a terrible stretch of basketball spanning over more than a month. Thats why people are upset.

Do they sell what you're taking over the counter or do I have to find a guy in a hooded sweatshirt on the corner?

Any long stretch of playing below .500 is concerning. Do you want a deep playoff run. That's in jeopardy. If we're playing on the road in the first round, I think our odds of even making the second round are abysmal. What's the long-term ceiling of this team? Well, let's see, after next season, I think the odds are extremely good that Kidd, KMart, Rasheed, Camby, Prigioni, KT are all retired. We have no young players except for Shumpert. We have a Carmelo who is starting to age a little. So, where does that leave us?

Look, this team was built to win now. They're not doing it. If you can't see the glaring red flag, please share whatever you're on.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'm still proud of the 3rd seed. We're only .5 games back of the two seed. I understand we're a team that's yet to gel and my goal is to head into the postseason healthy as a top two seed. Being .5 games back of the two seed with 30 games remaining is something that I'm enjoying (overall). It's a marathon to the postseason, not a sprint. I believe we'll enter as a top two seed especially once we get the ship rolling. a 4 game losing streak, yes, but we're only two games outside of all-star weekend. I'm not about to freak out as a fan.

A Prophet Spoke Long Ago

Danny Granger hosted his basketball camp at Park Tudor High School for the fourth straight year over the weekend. He was only in attendance for one of the two days because of a personal family issue he had to deal with in Los Angeles.

Like everybody else in the Pacers organization, Granger is eager for the season to start after they were eliminated by Miami in six games in the second round of the playoffs last season.

“Still not over it,” Granger said laughing about losing to the Heat. “I’m over it. It happens. They were the better team. I think they deserved to win the championship. That’s the way it goes. We have to get better.”

The Eastern Conference will be better next season.

Brooklyn, Boston, New York and the Pacers are expected to be in the mix for seeds 2-4 in the East.

Granger believes they’ve got the second best team in the conference behind the Heat.

“It’s going to be tough,” he said. “Brooklyn, they are going to be a threat. Obviously Miami is going to be there, but I think we still view ourselves as a top-2 team in the East.”

The battle for the seeds 2-4 will likely be determined by which team can stay the healthiest. The Pacers were a relatively healthy team last season.

I agree with Granger in that the Central Division is theirs to lose because of the uncertainty of when point guard Derrick Rose will return from his knee surgery up in Chicago.

“I think we’re in the driver’s seat coming off the success we had last year,” Granger said. “We just have to go out and win the division.”

The key for the Pacers (other than staying healthy) is to avoid complacency after they reached the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2006. The players and coaching staff are getting together later this month in Los Angeles for a workout and bonding experience.

“I think we’re still hungry,” Granger said. “When you have that drive you don’t become complacent. We had a good year, but we really didn’t accomplish anything yet. So, we all still realize that and we’re a veteran team and we know we have a long ways to go.”

The crazy thing the people backed the prophet up while he was in bondage and SO IT WAS WRITTEN!!!!!!

The only thing is the March schedule along with the way we're playing can really screw up that goal. I dont think its time to panic but its time for some concern.

Just evaluate this team on what you see. 14-15 in their last 29 games. Fans are really fooling themselves thinking Wallace, Camby and K Mart are going to make the difference down the stretch.

We have a team of one dimensional players that are soft mentally. In order for us to win games Melo has to be sensational and Jr Smith and Felton need to play efficient basketball. The spacing has been poor, our coach doesn't understand line ups and is bad at making adjustments.

Woody has gone from accountability, defense and ball movement to isolation and special treatment. Why does Smith get to play out of control on a daily basis? Why is the ball not moving, why are the rotations not working. Why is shumpert playing out of position?

This team is old and doesn't have a second scoring option most nights. We can't beat athletic teams or physical teams. It's a very real possibility that they will fold. Remember Melos attitude before Lin last year? He motivates and then reverts. He's back to the same guy and it looks like it has triggered lots of bad habits.

We get the Nets its a pick em, we get the pacers or bulls its another first round exit

I respect NYKMentality for being passionate BUT he shouldnt get on people for being upset. lets be real here for the past 30 games the knicks have been mediocre. That is a long stretch especially going into the hard part of the schedule with the oldest team in the league. I can handle a bad week or a bad 6-7 games but this has been going on for months now

Two questions/comments. Going into the season one of the points of emphasis was that a lot of these players had played together in the past. Melo, Amare, Tyson, JR, Shumpert, and Novak were all on the team last year and Melo and Amare were on the team the year before as well; Kidd's played with Tyson and now KMart; Amare, JR, KMart, and Camby all played together in Denver; Felton's played with Amare, Tyson, JR, Camby, and KMart.

But, even if none of that was true/matters, how long does it take for a bunch of veteran NBA players to learn to play together? At what point can we expect them to develop some chemistry?

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Can't be overly critical of a team over a 30gm stretch after they've played 25gms prior to but you can be overly critical of a Rookie Point guard after he plays bad against the best team in the NBA and essentially sum his career up after 35gms...

Now remember last year we were flip-flopping in mediocrity Woodson comes along and the team goes like 18-6 to finish the season and everyone thought he deserved the keys...

We start out 18-6 and then regress to mediocrity I think we have a right to be just as mad now as we were at the front half of last year.

I would have preferred a 14-15 start then progress to 18-6 up to this point. Our window is short we have zero margin for error and run out of excuses.
