The main NBA foes & local radio stations are currently ripping
Knicks on AM & FM as a professional team or soft cry-babys which
Now is.primary perception of entire league good elite teams and weaker foes

The knickerbockers bend & BREAK then cry to whomever wants to listen
Whether writers at post gm interviews, refs and officials

The knicks are being knocked off their throne & isn't reacting well is the view ,

Honestly, they're not wrong. As soon as they feel a bad call go against them they start talking to the refs and don't stop. And I think they're taking their cues from Woodson who's been yelling at everyone else except for the players on the floor. Players are always going to be barking at the ref regardless of the sport but we let it get in our heads more than just about any team I remember.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Wow, NY media critical of the Knicks. Imagine that.

What a difference losing makes. Nobody was whining at the refs during the first two months of the season?

Actually I've been saying that since forever. Winning masks your weaknesses. We aren't winning anymore and people are realizing it.

Have you seen jason Kid move and shoot--its not mental--hes done.

Have you seen rasheed wallace or Camby out there--nope they are done.

That was a big risk getting 40 year old players.

Its not mental its physical.

Yup, agreed. They looked strong early bc everyone was fresh, but Kidd/Prig are now struggling, Camby/Sheed cannot even stay on the Fl and KT is completely done.

That's why Isaiah, I mean Grunfeld, should've snagged a Reggie Evans (pre-35) type to be mixed in with these guys.

Some cuts need to be made (Kurt, Brewer, White, Cope) and they should just sign KMart and PG (Delonte?) and try and stay in that 2 seed if they're lucky.

And when you consider that there were other options for this team to get younger and better (Mayo, Carl Landry, Jamal Crawford, Andray Blatch) even yesterday Phoenix got a young Marcus Morris for a second round pick, yet somehow we traded two second round picks for Camby and gave him a 13 million deal.

The Camby deal looks like a big mistake in hindsight. I think Kidd has just been over used. Sheed and Prigs really don't belong in the conversation as they are minimum guys. Prigs has been solid. Agree about KMart but not sure about Delonte. He certainly could get into guys heads though.

Exactly, its been a season long trend with this team. The Memphis game was a prime example. From the coaching staff to the players, they have lacked poise this season. It's nothing new at all, Amar'e led the league 2 seasons ago in techs, Chandler was very close to the amount of techs resulting in a suspension last season, and Melo's near the top this season (KD is leading I believe). It's a matter of remaining focused and like you said when we were winning, it was barely brought up. Woody needs to reel his players in. He's the coach, he needs to lead. It's not acceptable going forward.

Not just that, they (especially Melo) constantly complain and look for the ref's to bail them out. Just man up, deal with the lack of calls and keep it moving. Seriously, in all my years, I've never seen a player make a difference by complaining to the ref's. Not like they are going to change the call.

I remember in one game Tyson saying to the ref, "I promise, I didn't foul him." I thought it was the craziest thing and was like, WTF are you joking Chandler. Did he really believe his PROMISE would make a difference.

Man up and play through it.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
