My brain says yes, but my heart says no- Shumps one of my favourite players- just can't do it! Also, thinking about it a bit more, Jermaine O'Neal would probably break down the instant he leaves the Suns medical staff's magical healing vortex.

I doubt they'd do this even without the pick included.

I think we can get this deal--if they want to get that done--that can get done.

How did you sweeten the deal, by adding a washed big that's injury prone?

It's funny you put their size and weight in there, considering neither player plays according to their bodies.

Nope a restricted pick gets nothing here, keep in mind the Suns want Shump and want him bad....a fleecing is in order.

They wanted Shump for Nash when no one knew if Shump would recover.

Also, they're sending more than double the salary to us that we'd be sending to them. It's gonna be really hard to match the salaries in a Shumpert-Dudley deal unless we also give up one of the following: Felton, Camby, Kidd, or JR. (I'm not advocating doing that though.)

Hell no.

Knicks need bodies now. Woodson isnt going to play a rookie. We need vets.

Maybe a 3 way to get Reddick

Knicks acquire
Reddick

Suns acquire
Shumpert

Magic acquire
Lakers pick

Also doesn't work salary cap wise- you'd need to through in a few more players from our side. Adding O'Neal actually worsens the deal as it means we would have to give up more to match the salary. I think Kenyon Martin could give what he does.

knickscity--do you honestly believe this team as is can we a championship this year--well be wiped out by either the Bulls Heat and likely Indiana as is unless we improve.

Oneal, why so he could sit with camby and wallace on the sidelines..pleeease

The suns still owe us from taking penny off there hands and crippling our salary cap, you wanna sweeten the pot, throw in Shannon brown or Kendall Marshall along with Dudly and your #1

I agree Dudley would add a lot. If we can get Camby back to the monster he was even just last year, it would be a huge help though.

What makes you think we will lose to Indiana? We alrady beat them and almost beat them without Melo & Felton

Chicago might have chemistry problems once Rose returns and isn't close to 100%

We match up better against Miami than anyone. I'll take my chances

Serious question, when was the last time we played better following a midseason trade?

I don't understand the love for Dudley, he's an average player,

Shump is already better plus the ceiling is high on this Shumpdawg

Gulp:

Woodson said he has talked to Shumpert about trade rumor but can't assure him he won't be moved.

Well I hope the Knicks have something better than Jared Dudley in mind even if a 1st Rd pick is included which I doubt

This is the only deal: They have tried to get Shump since the summer so if they want him here it goes

NY:

Dudley
Gortat
1st

Phx:

Shump
Novak
Camby

Camby deal expires next year so they get a young piece, a semi young shooter, and a future expiring. No it's not that great for them but why make it fair?

Deal or no deal?
