Woody said to him...."you can't tease me, I'm expecting it next game and the next." Tyson, such things will not be EXPECTED of you. Good for Woody knowing what buttons to push to get even "established" vets to take their games to new heights. I've said it a million times here and I will say it again: Woodson makes everyone better

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Tyson Chandler leads the entire league in offensive boards (his tip ability is simply amazing) and also ranks 6th in overall rebounds per game. Tyson's currently averaging 11.2 boards per game. At this rate he'll become #1 in overall boards sooner rather than later. Dwight Howard ranks number one at 11.9 per game. There's nothing I can really say, other than that Tyson's an overall force of a rebounder. Great box out ability as well. Strong as an ox down low.

Defensive Player of the Year.
Going on consecutive seasons of leading the league in FG%.
American Gold Medalist Olympian.
Championship as an NBA starting Center.
All-Star Center.

Nah. He actually put up 28 boards total during those four games leading into this three game streak.

He's put up 203 boards for an average of 13.5 boards per game during our last 15 games. You can even take away our previous three games in which Tyson combined for 60 boards and he still averaged 11.9 boards per game during our previous 12 games (heading into this streak). And as we all know, 11.9 boards per game currently leads the entire league. Tyson was hot heading into our previous three games, but now he's red hot.

So, let's not act like Tyson's came out of nowhere. He's been boarding great as of late, but really turned it up another notch during our past three victories. Tyson being protected by another BIG in Stoudemire is really pushing Chandler's game down low to the next level.

Dare I say it? Grunwald deserves a lot of credit for building a great supporting cast around Tyson (Melo leading the way as part of the great cast).

Tyson and Kidd are the real MVP's, beep, boop, bop.

Kidd? No, he's a great role player when healthy and Melo is a great scoring specialist. This season has shown me that he can play a much bigger role in a contending team than I realized.
Tyson is our unrecognized franchise player, though - like Ben Wallace was the the Pistons team that supposedly didn't have one.
On edit: I'd probably give Billups-Wallace co-franchise player status

That's sad, his Qbert rating must have taking a hit to be demoted from real Mvp status. LOL

TC has been great this month, with Amare playing at a high level, it's nice to see our big three coming together.

Or if I were trying to troll, our great supporting cast plus Chandler.

It is great to see Amare, Melo, and Chandler playing well together. Agreed.
Not sure you need the "if" in your last sentence though.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard Tyson Chandler and franchise player in the same sentence by anyone.

You feeling okay, Bonn? I wonder if Dirk would take offense if someone had said Tyson was the franchise player of the 2011 Mavs Championship team.

That's because you read only mainstream outlets. If you looked at stuff by sabermetricians (even just to get a balanced set of information), this would not be the first time.

Whew, Thank God Grunwald isn't a sabremetrician then!

You sure about that? Almost every team is hiring them and his judgments seem to coincide very closely with the sabermetrics. I'm actually thinking thank goodness he's probably using the sabermetric rather than the failed eye test approach.

Not like you Bronn to posting about probably's and Maybe's. Very unmetric thing to do, gotta come with those factoids.
