So u go from a guy who expected the Knicks to be in the 3 seed, if our are an optimist, which clearly you weren't, to the 7th seed, which I think more accurately describes your thinking...To now expecting the Knicks to reach the ECF or be a disappointment?????
what i said was that the knicks HAD TO maintain a second seeding if they hoped to make the ECF. third seed won't get it done as history has shown the odds are against it.
as to optimism they sure looked like a 2nd seed to me the first 6 games of the season. since then, around the time not of the grizzlies loss but the rockets loss, this team has regressed.
i don't know where you got the notion i thought they were a 7th seed either-- unless you are referring to the fact that right now only a couple of games separates us from the 6th seed-- not the seventh. i did say that but that doesn't more accurately describe my thinking come on now.
so my expectations are the same-- if they looked that good the first 6 or 7 games they should be able to get that back. to me it boils down to coaching leadership and player leadership.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
