I was actually worried we might have been and I'd just forgotten about it, but luckily by the time we got to 27 wins we also had 27 losses. For me some of the critics are applying a strange double standard- they seem to be saying that we stink, and our record is a fraud, but at the same time arguing as though we were an elite team that is under performing. We're either a mediocre team, in which case a 27-15 record is fantastic and we're over achieving; or we're a great team (in which case 27-15 is still good anyways, but I guess they expect us to be 35-7) and underachieving. Which is it? I agree with DJmusic though, in that we need to plumpen our wins in February, as March and April are brutal, especially for an older team: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/nyk/schedule?view=calendar&season=2013&m=03 |
