Jr is costing himself multi millions. He was on pace for a massive pay raise with stellar play and has regressed backwards horribly We have way to many inefficient unreliable inconsistent players. To many guys shooting 40%. This is no championship team and now I'm in the class of looking for trades at this deadline and jr could go if the right pieces ce back. There are simply 2jr smiths why I don't know but that's it. There is the part tome semiso all star. And then there is a guy who should be sitting. Bott line this tr needs a quality shake up

He's a chucker who will continue to have outstanding and horrible stretches like most chuckers. He is not worth more than about 3 or 4 mil per year.

This is part of JR Smith- he goes from looking like a big time player worth millions, to looking like a bum and back again- the lesson is to not get too high on him when he's doing well, or too low on him when he's struggling.

I don't understand how this thread advances the pro/anti Melo standoff.

Stat is asserting himself more by the game and Smith is regressing back to the player he was last season with one exception. This season JR is trying to make up for his bad decisions on offense with big plays on D.

JR was used to being the number one option off the bench. Stat has changed that. Unless Woodson tells him otherwise, JR is going to keep taking bad shots. Hopefully with Stat getting more attention from the defense, JR will have some better looks and won't force it as much. Its either that or Woodson pulling him aside like he did last season and reading him the riot act.

Stat's inside game is allowing him better looks and more opportunities to go to the line. Both JR AND Carmelo must follow suit. The game has regressed into hand-to-hand combat, and they must rise to the occasion.

JR is who he is. I can't get excited for his big moments because I just know he's going to cost us. Woodson has to know when to sit him.

Exactly. This is on the coach not to let JR shoot us out of games, just like it was on Riley...

I would drop JR in a heart beat. I know people like flashy players here and they stick out to the fan base. One electrifying dunk and your a Knicks for life. But JR smith needs to go. He is way to inconsistent sooting 40% from the field. The Knicks are carry two players with really bad shooting Felton and Smith. We aren't going to win a championship with them.

I want to believe that the Knicks are a championship team but they just aren't that. They lack focus and give games to easily to be considered a championship team.

If we could trade JR for a good big or good backup PG I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Felton is a point guard. He excels in the PnR. More important than comparing shooting stats with a chucker like JR

I think it's kind of funny that you call JR a chucker when he takes fewer shots/game than Felton.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

so your definition is only about shots/game? Not quality of shots too?
