Congratz to Chandler :)
deservedly joining Melo in the All-Star team :)

It'd be daylight robbery if the Knicks wouldn't have gotten another All-Star in when both Celtics and Lakers got 2 starters.

I simply love Tyson's overall game. Defensive Player of the Year last season (led the way and changed the defensive culture of our defense moving forward), contributed to team USA's Gold Metal, a championship winning Center and now he's an all-star. He cleans up anything and everything that's close to the rim. Which is why he's led the league in FG percentage going on two years in a row. He's by far the best offensive rebounder in the game today and also ranks 3rd in overall boards off the glass (only behind Zach Randolph and Dwight Howard). Tyson's also ranked 13th overall in regards to points + rebounds + assists per game at 24.2 per game. Dwight Howard (for example) is 3rd overall in points + rebounds + assists at 30.4 per game.

With Melo leading the offensive charge. Chandler leading our defensive mentality and our overall team talent/depth and ability? We're going to become a tough out come postseason play.

Congrats!
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Well deserved. Congrats Tyson.

Wind the clock back 2 years. Who would've guessed we would have 2 all stars on the team (with a potential case for a 3rd), none of which were STAT?

This is great news. He definately deserves it. Refs, coaches and announcers had to brush up on the NBA rules when it came to rules regarding how he gets credited with rebound and sometimes assist on the same motion. And whether or not our guards could chase such tapouts into the backcourt.

No I can't just say "congrats". I actually enjoy talking about the game of basketball. Unlike yourself who trolls this message board with one line fillers. Thanks for the reply guy, you really contribute a whole lot to our forum.

Wrong.

He made the All-Star team because he deserves it. He's led the league in FG % for going on two consecutive seasons now (cleans up anything and everything in the proximity of the rim), ranks 1st in offensive rebounds, 3rd overall in boards off the glass, is the starting Center for the team with the 2nd best Eastern Conference record and is also one of the greatest overall defenders in the game today. Those are facts.

But let's not let the fact's get in the way of his all-star selection...

Also, you act as if Tyson Chandler winning a championship as an NBA starting Center, earning Defensive Player of the Year award honors last season and also becoming an Olympic Champion as USA's starting Center is a knock against Chandler himself. And now he's an All-Star.

When in actual reality? He's one of the best Center's in the game today.
