to Toronto Pau Gasol to NY and Bargnani to LA? That would give us the third true superstar and low post threat who has not been used correctly this year. Chandler is a good player but he is no Gasol. He cant get is own offense--we need more balance on offense.

Bonn is going to murder this thread But I have to disagree. Felton and Chandler will be nice with Aamar'e taking the place of Brewer/Copeland.

Pau old and breaking down and declining. Tyson like the Knicks miss Felton. Shame we depend so heavily on one player unlike Chicago and Indy

Why stop at Pau, Superman would a better target.

Chandler & Novak.

Gasol is soft with no heart...Offense for defense, no thanks...Imagine Amare and Gasol as your defensive frontline..

Pau is more talented than Chandler. But if he can't keep his head up in LA, what's he going to do the when the Post and the Daily News start writing about him every day. Thanks, but no thanks.

The player I want traded the most is JR Smith. This guy hasn't met a shot he didn't like.

Perfect for the 6th man role, and he plays tenacious D, that's why I wouldn't trade him.

Yes JR can drive you crazy sometimes but he is still one of our best offensive option besides melo. his defense is pretty good and he plays hard

If we're doing a trade involving the Lakers I do not want Gasol I want Earl Clark.

He is one of our best defensive rebounders as well, but his shot selection just kills me and I don't get why its worth the trade off at times when he is off. If he is off, sit him. Or, tell him to pass up some shots. Why can't Woody do that? Does JR not listen to him?

Effort is not the issue with him. Its his execution on offense at times that is just mind boggling. I can't believe that Kidd does not barf on the court watching him sometimes.

That isn't a good thing Martin. He is getting starter minutes anyway you look at it and he is shoot a whopping .407 from the floor. He is defense is good though no doubt. Now that Shumpert is back I would like to see his minutes get cut and split up with Brewer eventually.

He's still pretty much the same J.R. in how he plays but he has a better attitude overall. I never know what he's going to do when he's out there....

very much ENIGMATIC forever and ever....

his efficiency numbers are the lowest since his rookie year.

How is woody making him a better player? Making him better would be if he made him more efficient.

These are the comments fans make when our starting pg isn't orchestrating the offense , but a 6"8
scorer is. No balance on the floor and guys are playing out of position.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

the only DPOY in Knicks history is certainly part of the answer. I'm disappointed in this thread

I wish I could say Tyson Chandler or even Ronnie Brewer but in reality? Melo has been our best overall defender this season. Melo's defense has been taken to another level since becoming a New York Knick especially this season. With all that said? Tyson Chandler is impacting on the boards. And once Shumpert gets into full grind mode? I believe we'll see Tyson Chandler also take his game up another level.

Jeffries, Shumpert, Chandler and Woodson changed the defensive culture of our Knicks last season. Chandler deserved that defensive player of the year award and feel the best has yet to come from Tyson here in 2012-2013.
