Seems like Kurt won't start tonight based on what we heard from Woody. My guess is Camby replaces him. Nothing official yet. #Knicks

Tommy Beer ‏@TommyBeer
Front line of Melo, Camby & Chandler would be intriguing. 2 former DPOY’s in 1 starting lineup…

Defense
Finally!!!

Knew Woodson would go to this lineup until Amare is ready to start. Camby is a good passer. Can't wait til Shump and Felton return to replace Brewer

Knicks win 96-93

The "Who's Bad?" Line

JR The Magnificent. Brewer. (or SuperMelo) Steve Novak. Chris Copasetic. Amar'e.

Yea, I would start Pablo too, just hope he doesn't gamble too much on Parker and avoids foul trouble.

Kidd will be put to the woodshed and hung out to dry if he starts at PG against Tony P.

We don't have another backup point guard. No choice but to start Brewer until Shumpert and Felton return

I would go with the line up that brought us back last night.

Kidd/JR/Melo/Camby/TC

+1 Answerman shoots, he scores!
This is what sometimes makes coming into the office worthwhile.

I swear, if playa2 comes up with a clip of Mr. Marcus speaking with a yiddish accent, I will laugh my prostate off.

Well, it's sink or swim time- hopefully a win tonight will get us back on track. We're in a difficult situation though- Spurs have been killing teams like we used to earlier in the season. Also another loss and we start to tumble in the standings- we'd be in third place after Miami and Atlanta. Two more losses after that and we fall behind Chicago and Indiana.

Man, we're down to 7th place overall- when did that happen?!

Glad to see Camby get a good chance to solidify his spot in the rotation (if he starts). Hopefully Amar'e will be able to contribute a little bit more. Wonder if we'll use Melo as a decoy again?

I can't believe how Tim Duncan is playing this season, 18pts 9.8 rebounds in 30 mins. Best season he's had in years, and he's, what, 36?

We need this win, but it's not going to be easy, and it could end in disaster.

Duncan and Splitter are long and agile. This is a good move by Woody. That solves one problem. Now what to do with Parker and Manu? Kidd and Pablo will have a hard time staying in front of those 2. Patty Mills is also coming off the bench. Danny Green will also be a big problem. Dude can defend and hit a wide open 3.

The only way the Camby, Tyson line up really works is if Tyson shoots the J and attack off the dribble like he did when Melo and Felt were out. Camby can not shoot but he can pass and semi-drive. This will probably put Melo back at the point to make this work. Another thing is that that front line will not work with Brewer at the 3.

Brewer at the 2 not 3. Like he was on Tuesday. Offense is not the issue. Defense is a major issue since late November

I dont understand why he didnt keep doing that afterwards

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

This is a mistake I made too, assuming Camby can't shoot- apparantly he added a pretty reliable mid range jump shot after he left New York. Hope he has a good game!

That jump shot has went out to pasture. It's on early retirement.

Dunks are better for WS and WP and of course a great FG and TS.

Its amazing how in November this team was so great on defense. I mean they held teams under 100 most games during November. Now they look worse than MDA defense

Don't look now but MDA's Lakers are ahead of the Knicks defensively. The Knicks were actually #10 or better under MDA last year, so this years team has work to do to get back to even that level.

Are you taking the injuries we've been bombarded with into account?

If you look closely at the Lakers they are really just running Woody's defensive schemes.
