Pure speculation on my part but the guy does NOT look happy in LA.

I'm wondering if the Lakers will attempt to move Howard at the deadline or risk him walking for nothing this summer.

Howard getting basically no touches in the offense while Kobe jacks away. Post offense with D'Antoni is non-existent.

He looked pretty happy Christmas day, dunking on everyone off silky smooth Nasty Nash passes,

I think he'll be okay, but I would not be surprised if he changes teams a few more times over his career

I was a big proponent of floating some type of Amar'e and Shump package for him last year,

I agree that he would be much happier on a team like New YOrk with woody and a more conventional offense

At the same time, I think Lakers are going to make it work

Dwight Howard sucks.

In all seriousness, does anyone really want a part of this guy? He's a sulking player with a bad back. He's overvalued.

I think walks, but if the Lakers are tied to , they trade him. For like Granger and George.

Im thinking he is walking too. The question is where to.

Lakers cant afford to lose him for nothing.

Lakers never drop the ball like that, what do you think they are, the Knicks?

I'm sure they'll figure some good solution out.

We base this all on his facial expressions on Christmas?

My guess is MDA was Kobe's childhood hero and with olympic exposure he was very much in the decison making process
For Dwight, I would also figure he was in on the decision.

When you have input and max money and you own a house in malibu, its kind of hard to walk.

MDA had to know from management that making Dwight happy is a priority. My opinion is he also had to sell the plan to Dwight, Kobe, and management.

Is he a walk risk? I don't know who has the cap space and be a place he'd want to go. Dallas seemingly has it but don't see them short term as a viable contender with him.

If any place I thought brooklyn was a top choice by Dwight and you have to figure Bropez is the centerpiece for any deal.

I really don't care what this dude does. Best he stay in LA and be a Shaq poser

I say he walks too- I get the impression he and Kobe hate each other, as expected, and he just does not look particularly pleased to be there. Lakers don't really lose out in the sense that Bynum wouldn't have played this season if they'd kept him, and would have walked as a FA too.

I think, maybe Dwight goes to Atlanta (lots of 3 pt shooters, his friend J Smith, and a LOT less media scrutiny), especially if they finish with a good record. Maybe Dallas.

I would probably cry if we ever traded for Dwight- can't stand him at all, even putting aside last seasons antics. Plus his back is a big concern too (to give him credit I'm suprised he's playing so soon and is as productive as he has been so far).

I don't know if it is the back injury, but I never thought Dwight was this limited offensively. He's not Chandler bad, but he isn't as good as I thought he was. Should be able to get more buckets than he get's.

Have to touch the ball to get shots.

Howard in Orlando was all smiles. Howard in LA looks lethargic.

Did you hear his interview after the game??? If I was one of the speech readers therapist types, I would have read in to it as he was saying "Ya'll can't treat me like this, Im a superstar".

I think he wants the "smiles" back, I think he is walking

Lol at Kobe agreeing the Flagrant foul was warranted. Thx for backing your teammate.

Kobe said that in a way to take little snips at Howard because Howard made a silly flagrant that cost the team a big man in the paint. Kobe's got a way with words to where he's talking crap about you without actually talking crap.

I agree with Kobe and the Flagrant 2. Who the hell blocks by extending their arms outward into someone's face instead of upward toward you know, where the ball was?

It's hard to say if Howard is just gradually working his way back or if he's basically where Amare was 2 years ago - the beginning of the end of star level play.
