What is up? Why do I feel that we're having a crazy number of injuries last year and this?
Just doesn't seem normal!

I don't really understand what Isola is saying:

Although the New York Knicks have listed Rasheed Wallace as day-to-day with a sore left foot, he actually has a stress fracture in that foot, according to a team source.

Wallace is expected to be out for an extended period of time and the Knicks hope he'll be back at some point after the team's three-game road trip that starts on Christmas Day.

If it's a stress fracture, don't they take longer to heal than a week or two? And if he's going to be out an extended period of time, isn't that more than 3 games after christmas?

Oh well, hopefully we have Camby and Amar'e back, plus Copeland's shown us something too.

Sounds like he's saying Sheed is out for at least few weeks. Hope Camby is ready to play.

I thought Woodson or Sheed said it was an old injury.

Camby does not impact the game like Wallace, especially at this stage of his career..He's shown me nothing to get excited about this season

Camby, when healthy, is much better than Wallace. But, he's only played 46 minutes over the course of 6 games.

Newer expected our old dudes to play much.
Kid may play 50 games or so with 20 min avarage if we are lucky.
We already get lucky with Sheed playing so mich early.

A guy I know has known Kidd since high school. He said Kidd told him he can barely move the morning after games and that he hurts all over. That being said, Kidd is always conservative in his movements on the court but is so smart that he makes the steal or the right pass at the right time. I hope he plays 70 games.

He's had two games, where he had an impact in limited minutes- grabbing rebounds, some good defense, a block. What he does is what we need- I'm hoping he's still got some gas in the tank and can get right physically, because he's a valuable player to have.

true so far this year but he is the KEY if we want to make a serious run. we need him to rebound and defend while spelling chandler. you saw how we look defensively when chandler isnt in there. i think it is fine to have camby wait until he is healthy 100% because in march, april, may and hopefully june, we will need him as he will be one of most important role player.

Knicks confirmed it's a stress fracture. Why this team thinks it's OK to lie to us about what's going on with players I'll never ****ing understand.

I just don't get the reasoning behind it- why hide an injury that a bench player has? We were going to find out about it anyways when he didn't play in 6 weeks. Can kind of understand managing the news if its one of your franchise players like Melo or Amar'e, but Sheed?! What's the point? It's just lame.

Just doesn't seem normal!

We have the oldest team in the league, including lots o guys with long injury histories. Given that Dolan wasn't going to do real rebuilding, I think Grunwald put a very good squad together but injuries were an obvious risk.

We are certainly in win now mode. But Novak, Kidd and Camby will all turn out to be bad signings down the road.

The Knicks are getting injured because they are old. Melo needs to understand its not the playoffs don't go flying into the stands to save balls.

Yeah, because we're actually doing well this season, lets focus our attention on the future when things might be worse.

he didn't take a calculated risk, though. getting these guys was something of a coup on the surface, but the risk was too great. i feel bad for kidd. he must be taking scads of ibuprofen to stay on the court.

he was in a bind with the team being in win-now mode. love sheed and kidd and thomas and camby too. but you can't cheat father time.

but yeah if the wheels start falling off the bus as the season grinds on we will know why.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
Ack! Sheed out with stress fracture!
