When you have a star players or starters who sets a tone with a me 1st tendencies, they can be reluctant to keep the ball moving once the ball is in their hands. The remedy is to put another pg on the floor at the same time unless you can command respect by your reputation( players who play in NBA all-star game 4th qtr) or you have a dominant pass 1st personality on the court ala (Steve Nash).

Whether it be Kidd or Prigioni they both should have the option to play with Felton at some time during games , especially when things get stagnant.

Melo & J.R scoring prowess sometimes gets the best of them , Amare was like that sometimes too (forcing shots)

Coach Woodson may have seen the light, I hope the rest of the team buys it for the rest of the season.

one of the main reasons we got off to the 6-0 start was because we kept the ball moving. Then we went 3-4 but shooting to much and too much iso. Last night we got back to what worked.

I didn't see much ball movement last night. well at least the portions I watched.. I saw a lot of three shot jacking, and a horrible played game by the bucks... that is an odd team.. two guards who are elusive but don't penetrate that much..... they do love bad shots..

A Chorus Line

Mike Woodson is still holding auditions. Note the early playing time for Chris Copeland and James White. During past seasons, players at the far end of the pine would only see garbage time. Woodson is giving everyone a chance to play when it counts and that is a good thing. Look for our rookie Prigi Smalls to flourish with 20+ minutes a night.

Woodson's protests against young players may have been a diversion to keep everyone guessing. His only priority is winning and win he has. We are deep. The only thing Woodson has figured out is that guys want to play. In order to play, they must play well when they get light. Marcus Camby included. Think that's crazy? Think how crazy 11-3 would look if Carmelo's last shot (in regulation vs Brooklyn) drops.

Hit the open man.

Misterearl good observation ! If you are on the knicks roster and you show something in practice and the knicks need what you bring to the table Woodson will insert you into the game.

What liberation coming from the knicks sidelines compared to the last coach.

God I hated that!!

No adjustments, no substitions....just GO GO GO LET'S GO COME ON LET'S GO!

Almost every bad start of the game or sluggish 3rd quarter decided the game. NO COMEBACK ABILITY!

The thought of him sickens me.

and one of the reasons for the current struggles is that the Knicks haven't been able to practice fore weeks because of the hectic schedule. One the home stand begins, they will have a chance to work on things they have slacked on and get back to playing good defense.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Or the coach before that, or the coach before that, or the coach before that, or the coach before that, or the coach before that........

Winning. We like coaches who win more than lose.

Playa figured that out.

Having Pablo or Kidd on the floor at the same time as Felton is not going to be a long term solution. We will get exposed. Having Shumpert back would be glorious.

The main reason we won games was because of our defense. Not sure why guys keep harping on offense during our losing streak when we gave up 131 pts and 114pts to Dallas.

Woody is not going to take Kidd out of the starting unit for Shump. Shump will likely take JR's role as first guy off the bench.

A second unit of Amare, Shump, Pablo and Smith is pretty dynamic.

I said one of the reasons not the "main" reason. Of Course our defense is whta made us go 6-0 but ball movement was another reason

Blue vs White

A fantasy league second shift of Amar'e, Sheed, Novak, Smith (Shump) and Pablo dominates most NBA starting fives.

For crying out loud, we are the 4th highest scoring team in the league and we are stil complaining about offense? Is it not beautiful enough? Just because we dont like the way the offense looks or have a total different philosphy doesn't mean it aint working. 102 pts per says it is working. During our losses, it was the defense that let us down. We scored enough pts to beat the Rockets and Mavs but we couldn't hold them to our season defensive scoring average. Had we done that, we probably win.

relax we know the defense is the most important but having extra offense against teams like the heat and the thunder is good to have
