I have defended felton but that was a disgraceful performance. Forget the 3 for 18. His defense was once again brutal, he missed guys constantly and his turnovers were horrible. He really needs kidd healthy

Kidd must be a very positive influence on him. He needed to be held accountable tonight.

Really, really awful. You gotta know when u don't have it and pass the damn ball. Those 5 missed driving floaters lost us the game tonight.

No it should t have. Firing up floating air balls when the other team is in the penalty and there is under a minute left is pathetic.

I totally agree. Felton stunk up the place. I blame in part the Coach for allowing him to screw up the game. Do we have an inside game?? Everything is 3s 3s 3s.

To answer your question, no we dont have an inside game. Melo is the closes thing we have to an interior threat, that is until Amare "Dream" Stoudemire unveils his new moves.

What I'm not understanding is why it seems like Melo has stopped posting up. It looks like he's spending most of his time on the perimeter either driving to the hoop, a good thing, or shooting midrange jumpers, a bad thing.

You gotta give Gerald Wallace credit, he pushed Melo off the blocks. Melo took what was given to him and he scored a lot. This game was not on Melo. This was all on Felton and Pablo.

I don't hear people complaining about sheed. Perhaps his 2-11 didn't help either. Felton was the #1 culprit, but Sheed needs to stop chucking.

Yeah the nets are going to be a tough out if the knicks Is meet them in the playoffs. Wallace plays melo really well. If bropez finishes better the game doesn't go to o t.

I've chalked this game up to a poor shooting night by everybody not named Melo or Chandler and I'll move on with my life.

Wallace 2-11
Novak 1-3
Felton 3-19
Smith 2-7

The Knicks shot 39% from the field as a team, but showed up with great
D and managed not to get killed on the boards and kept themselves in the game. Felton's day was ugly but there's no need to throw a temper tantrum about it and say you're done.
C'mon man.

As far as the offense goes, the only inside game is the pick and roll with Felton and Chandler or Melo posting up or Iso to Smith. The layups are shot Felton should take and usually makes but didn't tonight.

Yeah, that is pretty pathetic. I liked Felton but I just don't see him as an upgrade. Kidd yes but Kidd is getting older. Prigs was an unknown, can't hold things against him. Novak is stinking again.
If you watch box scores though it seems it often comes down to JR Smith. If he is on and our number two scorer we win as he just creates is shot so well.
I hope Melo keeps taking it to the hole though, that changes the game normally. But I can see how it is a bit tough on his body. When is Stat due back? Not that we can believe management.

A more alarming thing is we went from #1 in the NBA to 3-4 in our last 7. On a good note we can easily win our next 4 games and then we play Miami again. That game will be key to where we are at.

I just can't believe Brooklyn beat us AND the crowd was behind them. This was more than just a loss...
