I doubt Woodson would do something that would get as much pub as benching the DPOY, but I wouldn't mind seeing Rasheed and Camby brought in sooner for spot minutes. Chandler actually stopped momentarily to argue with the ref about a jump ball with the team down double digits. Tyson plays like someone who would rather be somewhere else. He put more emotion into that elbow of Asik than pretty much the entire game up to that point.

Unless he's hurt I get the feeling that Chandler is burnt out from the accelerated schedule last year and the Olympics. Melo was there too but it doesn't mean they are going to react the same way.

He doesn't challenge any shots when they get to the paint. I don't know whats going on? Its like Kurt Thomas and Amare all wrapped up in one, except Tyson was an animal last year..

Exactly. Nothing is being challenged. He hasn't even been an average defender. He's been terrible. This has been a huge problem even though we've been winning.

He looks more mentally than physically burnt out. I don't see the same fire.

I have been a Tyson supporter but he is getting his ass handed to him every game. Im nto talking about Dwight Howard im talking about average big men. I mean his defense has regressed big time. His rebounding has gone down from 10 to 7. He gets foul trouble every game. I mean hopefully we get last year Tyson back

The way we were wining was team defense and ball movement on offense.
It was nothing individual and this get into the heads of our "stars".
They want individual glory, numbers, awards, not be blended into TEAM.
I was wondering how long Woody will be able to control the egos.. we are going to see.

He has looked bad. The team always seems to play better when Kurt or Sheed is in for Tyson.

He is overrated. Not terrible.

Sad to see him get out worked by Asik though.

Woodson says that Tyson's fine. really woody? Tyson is getting beat on defense every game, he isnt boxing out, he complaining all the time. I mean tyson needs Woody to get in his face and light a fire under his ass
