This is a TEAM sport never forget that. Yes it's dominated by Star players but at the end of the day the best TEAMS win...


So since we are winning and teams that win usually are recognized rewarded for play how many of our players represent us at the All-Star game?

Are you asking who we think will be all-stars? If so, I'd say Melo and maybe Tyson.

Looked up some stats... basic metrics and advanced....Jason Kidd has a TS% of .796. That's near EPIC I wonder if he keeps up his play could he get voted in by coaches?

Personally I don't like coaches picks, picking the entire Piston rotation was beyond pathetic.

Then left Tay off as disrespect.

I hope Ray gets in. He has been amazing. Tyson at 9 and 7 gets in as an olympian or a past all star but I don't think his play to this point justifies it.

If we are talking about votes, then only Melo will make it.

Tyson has zero chance in votes now that they don't have the center position on the ballot.

As far as reserves only if we get the #1 seed will there be any coaches picks.

uh, Melo is likely the only one. Not to slight anyone. Its early still. Not following other teams too close so I don't know whats going on with other players besides the obvious stat leaders.

kidd has been the best off season pick up by far, and thats throughout the NBA..

A little bit off topic but isnt it possible that Lin gets voted as a starter for the West? Starters are still voted in by the fans right?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Hmm, I figure that Melo, Lebron, and Bosh will be voted in as the front court starters and Deron Williams and Dwayne Wade voted in as the starters in the backcourt. I believe that leaves 7 spots, four frontcourt and three backcourt, that the coaches will pick. Two of the backcourt spots will be going to Rondo and Kyrie Irving and I'm guessing that the frontcourt spots will be filled by some combination of Garnett, Pierce, Brook Lopez, Joakim Noah, Greg Monroe, Horford, and Josh Smith. That leaves one backcourt spot to fill between Kyle Lowry, Monta Ellis, and Joe Johnson. So, I'm guessing Melo will our only All Star barring injury.

Melo is an almost given. I could see JR or Ray sneaking in if our record stays this good. JR is almost made for that game.
