James Dolan that is. Some guys just can't leave the past behind. Well, guess what? Big Jim was right in all his decisions during the off-season. He has learned from experience. Accept the good news. Leave the hate behind and feel the love.

If Dolan lets his people do their job the results are much better. As long as he stays out of it

That's the problem. Jimmy Dolan never stays out of it. He always tries to prove to the world he's not an idiot. He's been doing this since he took over 12 years ago. So far we're seeing the brighter side, but I am still worried half way through the season he's going to pull out some crap again.

Knicks winning without Amare is great. To the bench Amare goes.

You guys are ungrateful...You think owners should just spend money to make you happy...It doesn't always happen..I am very happy to have an owner who spends his money no matter the outcome..He falls on his face many times and comes back spending..You think it's a given..You shouldn't...R.A. Dickey just won the Cy Young Award, the Mets are thinking of trading him...They don't want to pay him...Dolan spoiled you and now you expect it...

You must be a young one. No, owners should never just spend money to make anyone happy, especially Isiah Thomas. You say you're very happy for him to be like this. Did you think this way each year for the past 12 years? He didn't just come back spending, he comes back spending more than any other teams, on players like H20 so that our season ENDS before the playoff even got started. If Dolan wants to spoil the fans, he would've taken a poll and take our orders, which would be almost equally idiotic from what he's doing. The only thing Jimmy Dolan is doing, is spoiling Isiah Thomas, and himself. There's nothing spoiling for us fans. I've been suffering from sneers of other team fans for decades. I've spent money on season tickets just to be pissed off. I've spent years trying to convince old and new fans not to spend money on any Knicks items (especially tickets) until Jimmy Dolan loses so much money he sells it. I don't find this any joy at all. Shouldn't you feel happy if you're spoiled by someone? Cuz I don't.

Dickey plays for the knicks?

Mets are rebuilding and a freak Knucklballer at 37 years old deserves to get paid. If Mets are thinking his value peaked and can return a youthier player its not a bad ideal.

Lets say Dolan made the right call with Lin because of the financial considerations and I do agree with that aspect, he won't let anyone talk about it. They don't have to. I don't have to like Dolan either.

He spends money, but so do 19000 fans every nite.

We have not won anything yet but the early respect of our team.

WHOO!!! 6-0!!! This totally makes up for the last 12-14 years of incompetence! These six games totally make up for trading Ewing for Luc Longley, Glen Rice, and Travis Knight; throwing a hissyfit and trading Camby and Nene for a broken down Antonio McDyess and then trading Sprewell for KVH; and then trading KVH for Tim Thomas; Stephon Marbury; Jamal Crawford; Eddy Curry; Jerome James; Jared Jeffries; "Get in the truck"; Isiah Thomas; Anucha Browne Sanders; "A white man calling a black woman 'bitch,' that is wrong with me. I'm not accepting that. That's a problem for me." But when asked if it was wrong for a black man to call black women bitches, Thomas said "not as much" and "I'm sorry to say, I do make a distinction"; Don Chaney; Don Chaney's firing; Tracy McGrady; Steve Francis; Renaldo Balkman; Corey Brewer; and an overall record over the last 11 years of 357-529 for a winning percentage of 40% and including 3 seasons with less than 30 wins. And, of course, we're definitely guaranteed to continue playing like this over the course of the whole season and there's literally no chance we regress at any point.

Yeah, we should all be on our ****ing knees thanking God that Dolan is our owner because of how ****ing spoiled we all are.

Ha, just saw my quote in your signature!

Timely for this thread.

We praised Jimmy for bring on Walsh who tried to change the culture. We will praise him in due time.

6 games and we have to hope we don't break down into injury. Any team can fall but we are older than most and vulnerable.

I know other teams like Portland and the Clippers have had clown like ownership for sum time also but they are not our concern. Lakes are clown like but there mantle if full of bling.

Jimmy means well. But is paranoid, petty and the results have not been good.

A championship would go a long way to healing!

Great season thus far... 6 games. Enjoy the run but we have a ways to go, don't we. I mean Linsanity was 20 something games and people criticize the contract Lin got, so we can't really go too overboard over 6 games.

I am happy about our start for sure. But we have to integrate Stat and Shump, both coming back from injury. On paper it sounds great, but we already know about Stat and Melo having problems playing together. I'm not saying that to put a damper on things, but as the season progresses we will have a better idea of where we are at. So far, we are doing great for sure.

You have no proof of that...I counter to say that Amare has trouble with a PG who can't get him the ball...And let's be honest, I think Amare has been hurt for the last 1.5 years...

Exactly. I'm extremely happy with how we've started the season but there's no guarantee it will last, 6 games doesn't prove that all the right decisions were made this offseason, and it doesn't erase the incompetence we've put up with over the years. We've had stretches like this before: last season we had both Linsanity and the 18-6 run to end the season; the year before we had a 14-1 run in Nov/Dec but were 2 games over .500 when we traded for Melo and we ended the season 2 games over .500; the year before that we went 5-1 over the 6 games in December; we started 6-3 the season earlier before we traded ZBo and Crawford and there were Knicks fans who were pissed for several years because they thought http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=281029018]this team was going to be a title contender. All I'm trying to say is I'm not convinced after 6 games that this will be sustained and I'm not about to forgive Dolan and throwing laurels at him after what he's done to my favorite team over the last decade.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
