Here we go the injuries should start to pile up pretty fast for the Knicks. Was there ever a doubt that Camby wouldn't get hurt. That was his career as a Knick injured and it seems like he is going to continue right where he left off.

That was my only concern with Camby being signed, but having said that, it sounds like the practices are pretty intense. Its one 3 hour practice instead of two smaller ones. These injuries happen to players of all ages. I wouldn't be too concerned about it just yet. KT and Kidd were on the floor for most of it and apparently doing well from what I've read.

If you go to rotoworld player news, there are a lot of guys getting injured, missing exhibition games etc. There is always injury concerns with Camby. Better he get hurt in October then April, May.

Its not just Camby, Amare injured his ankle aswell. 2 seasons in a row, Amare has gone down with an injury. Hopefully he can have a healthy year this year....

as far as Amare its only an ankle but the knicks can't afford to fall behind the 8ball as far as developing chemistry especially guys like Amare and Camby who will be counted heavily on

I know its only an ankle but Amare and Melo need to be on the floor with felton and kidd as much as possible in the preseason. The Ankle is not a big deal but any other injury that keeps one of them out 1-2 weeks will definitely hurt the chemistry going into the season. Injuries happen just gotta hope for the best

I don't think anyone is expecting kidd, camby or sheed to play 82 games, As a matter of , i don't expect any player on the roster to play 82 games.
Woodson can talk about saving his vets, players in good conditioning, our roster being deep, this franchise has been plagued with injuries weather the player is young, old or never had a history of injuries.

Yea, this is true. Last years playoff's was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in regards to injured Knick players.

Oh Boy! I knew this would happen the second anyone got a little hurt. We always have someone a little banged up. Happened with guys like Jared and Bibby. It's just part of the NBA. Almost no team remains 100% healthy. What matters most is being healthy at playoff time. We have to expect a few older guys being sore here and there at the start. I'm not worried about October. We've got 82 games to get thru and with a deep roster we should be able to rest guys as needed.
When did Knicks fans turn into a bunch of nervous nellies?

damn right were nervous, we have a history of injuries, and for the record no team has more injuries then the knicks especially come playoff time

The thing is NO ONE can predict injuries. If that was the case the Bulls could predict when D Rose's ACL would snap. It's not just old but young players that get hurt in a highly active sport like BB. ANYONE can twist an ankle or strain a muscle.

It started when Iman Shumpert was injured on opening night last season. It started when Jeremy Lin was injured. It started when Carmelo played injured....
