In a pure Basketball sense I will enjoy watching:
Raymond Felton- Always liked him - he could fit in with us like Chauncey Billups - less "big shots" but with the defensive tenacity and running a controlled offence-
Ronnie Brewer - D and useful buckets- no attitude - good team flow player won't be asked to do more than he can
JR Smith -Always Liked him! Espcially in bursts- again best not overserved
Iman- Can't Wait- I trust he'll get it right health wise too-
J Kidd As a back up? Awesome! He will make those cats flow I promise and again we're not leaning on him
Carmelo- I'm glad we made the trade. Great player - and Big Shots- and fun to watch. This is a good team for him.
Amare- Feeling good about him, having a stable useful role in a team game
Tyson- Health and we're good
Marcus Camby- Do you have any idea how Buck Wild the Garden will go if he has a season at all comparable in efficiancy to the last couple years? It will be SO fun to see that **** back on our court! Again- Health
Kurt Thomas- Above, but less frequent

Looking forward to good games- GO KNICKS

Based on that picture, that's actually the right play Bonn.

Ha, talk about spoilt for choice- if you were melo, who would you pass to in that situation: Landry Fields (25.6% 3pt) or Toney Douglas (23.1% 3pt). Melo can be a ball hog, but sometimes I get why he takes all the shots.

I loved Stat/Felton their first year here... thats easy to root for.

Im expecting Allan Houston to suit up any day.

Then we can get H20, Kurt and Camby all together and explain we finally got them the reinforcments they need to win a title.

I love the Knicks, even when they are idiotic and make it hard.

I will watch and I will root. Impossible to leave this dysfunctional relationship

That picture really does encapsulate the nature of the trade. The trade left us thin. Don't blame Melo because he had no one to pass to. Now he'll have Brewer and Felton! We set now!

Actually Novak should be there on the left. If Kidd is where Douglas is that a good shot also!

+1, trust in your teammates is huge. Passing to Douglas or Fields=Fail. Anybody remember the Carmelo Anthony triple double game vs Boston? No issues passing out to the cutter or double team there.

I can root for amare and shumpert, I like watching kidd and camby, at least the "old" kidd and camby, not the "OLD" kidd and camby...

other than that, this team leaves little to be desired.... JR smith is a fool, and brewer is a brick shooting scrub.. real talk...

Feeling good, too. Like everyone on the team. Even the knuckleheads are fun to root for. Just someone remember to take Kidd's keys before closing time.

This should be an awesome year. I am looking forward to the Big 3 finally having the time to mesh. All 3 can be all-stars this year. Melo is the superstar on the team and needs to take that next leadership step. Amare is the 2nd option and needs to be healthy and consistant. Tyson is the enforcer and leader. The best center we have had since Ewing. Looking forward to Felton again and he and Kidd bringing this team together. Also, Camby and Thomas both in a Knick uniform is a nice thing to see to bring their careers full circle before retirement. Always was a huge Camby fan, his injuries prevented him from developing into a star, but glad he has found a great role late in his career.

I forgot about him! He's going to fit in nicely, again, not overexposed

Saying "real talk" doesn't lower Brewer's respectable shooting percentage or his defense or that other tough coaches (Sloan, Tibs) trust him-
JR is a goofy as it gets but I think he's still fun to watch and root for, and can win you games

What I like is that management has assembled a team that is mentally tough and will be playing defense...This takes me back a little to the Knicks of the 90s...Tough hard nose guys playing what used to be the Knicks brand of basketball...When is the last time you have seen that...

how much did tibs trust him? wasn't he playing behind a worn down RIP? and lets be real.. JR will shoot you out of more games than he will win for you...

It also reminds me of the 2004 Detroit team- all those old bigs (Elden Campbell Corliss Williamson ) backing up Rasheed and Ben Wallace-

I think too many Knick fans are stuck in the past. This team is really very interesting now and should be fun to root for this season.

1. Felton and Kidd! can't understate this point but just remember what we started with last year and then compare to what we have now. I think both guys will be super motivated by playing in NY on a contending team. This PG tandem is LIGHTYEARS beyond what we had last year. Both mentally and physically tough men with experience.

2. STAT and Melo are in shape!!! We had both players coming off injuries last summer and that brutal schedule was not what they needed. This year both are healthy and ready to go having worked on their games this summer. I'm excited to see them this year back playing at their normal levels.

3. TYSON, CAMBY, KT & SHEED!!! I don't care how old these guys are, that is some serious beef to throw at teams. I can't think of a better group of defensive bigs than this. We'll be able to matchup with any team in the league period.

4. Shump, Brewer and JR. These are 3 athletic guards that can defend and hustle on the floor. The only issue is getting Shump and Brewer 100%. That's a big question but so far things have been moving along on pace.

I think overall if someone is really honest about this roster they'd have to admit that this is a tough team for any team to face. The identity of the team has shifted from offense to BIGTIME DEFENSE! You have to be happy about that as a Knick fan. I just don't see the negative side of this group since it's not just a one sided team but a well balanced, deep and veteran team now.

This is an easy team for me to root for
