I know this is a Knick forum--but any sports fan must be shaking in his pants after seeing what happened at the end of the Green Bay game. A few men in the head of the NFL offices backed by the owners really are putting the dignity and integrity of the game at stake over thousands of dollars. Not millions thousands--I believe the number was 36k a week for 20 weeks. Man pay up. But wow bad bad bad call not even close.

I would feel sorry for the replacement refs, as they're clearly out of their depth and looked petrified out there, but then again they screwed over the actual refs by taking their jobs and undermining their bargaining position so they are getting what they deserve- shame the fans are the real losers once again.

I guess people will never criticize the actual refs ever again. I swear the replacement refs were out there for the giants packers playoff game last year

Say what! Giants put it to Green Bay In a convincing fashion. The refs had little to do with that and those dropped balls by the Green Bay receivers. Let's face the Packers were exposed in that playoff game.

But last night was absolute BS that was an interception. I honestly believe that once the ref lifted his hand for a touch back the other thought he was raising for a TD so he put his hands up for a TD instead of a touchback.

The Giants won the game despite the officiating and the league wanting GB and SF. You are not reliving the game incorrectly. It was a close game with some terrible calls in green bays favor. If not for the officiating the giants wouldve won by an even greater margain

I have seen horrendous calls by the regulars all too often. These refs would get better over time and of course will make some bad mistakes along the way.

What if the refs wanted 100,000 a week? Where is the cutoff?

I hate the real refs. They are old and bad.

And they want pensions when no part timer in this country get pensions. Now one can say the players dont deserve all the money they get but they are irreplaceable. Like u said these refs would get better overtime. They have appreciation for their jobs. With experience and repetit anyone can ref a game. If some refs want back in the league then cut ties with the union. I guarantee you the younger refs want back in. Its the older ones who want pensions. And its probably the older ones who are responsible for all the missed calls

Love how the replacements refs are in unison on this atrocious call. NOT! Lingerie and arena football league called, they want you guys back. Time for some real refs that won't blow obvious game determining calls.

The league is getting exactly what they want. All the people who complained about the officiating last year? Now the officials come back and any complaints and goodell threatens to bring back the replacements. Bottomline people will complain no matter what. Annd anyone boycotting watching will be glued to the tv come 1pm sunday. If I Was Goodell i would let the replacements finiah the year. Maybe if the players refuse to take the field

I'm officially done with all non Giants games untill the real refs come back or we see a dramatic improvement from the replacements. I wish I could give up the Giants untill then but i can't. The NFL really does have the fans over a barrel.

The main thing I worry about with replacement refs is that they are easier to buy/bribe being that they have so much less to lose.

This whole situation with the refs is an embarrassment. Roger Goodell is the worst commissioner in sports and is doing everything in his hurt the NFL. The man should be ashamed of himself.

I think they will do away with pensions and just increase the refs pay. Supposedly this is all over $3mil. The nfl makes a trillion dollars. This should end by Sunday I think
