This is Hakeem teaching Howard....Howard hasn't used any of this **** in real games..... Amare would be unstoppable if he learned how to spin dribble and fake the way Hakeem does.... btw...anybody thing Hakeem can probably still play a bench role even at his age? He looks really good in the videos Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

Man I miss Hakeem! I just marveled at the beauty and precision of his moves. The creativity!!! I'm shocked that more bigmen haven't gone to him cuz he was the best moving bigman i've ever seen. McHale was also unbelievable, but Hakeem took it to another level.
What you see is that there's more to than just watching tape of Hakeem. There's a thought process that goes into it and that's why i'm glad STAT is going to learn from him. I think STAT has the right skills and physical talent to actually be able to execute Hakeem's moves. Also what I like about Hakeem's game is that it's not a banging bruising kind of post game, which I dont' think STAT would be good at with his back. It's a finesse post game which I think totally fits STAT's style much better. If he can get that Fade away jumper down he'd be unstoppable. |

If I were Hakeem, I would've given Lebron James a discount just so I could build a reputation. The Dream couldn't have received better advertising than this year's NBA finals. If I'm the Hornet's, I'd go as high as $500,000 to make Hakeem the personal coach of Anthony Davis. The more I think about this, the sadder I get. Hakeem is probably making more as a coach than Patrick Ewing.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Scoring is about creating space.....A'mare has always been a bully. Against a flopping defense like Miami he's dead.....all i need for him to do is develop a nice spin with both hands and add some fakes, like up and unders and man o man......he should hit up Larry Johnson too....Larry was great at that too especially being under size

Just want to see him able to do more than camp around the rim to get his points in the paint. I doubt that anyone is going to confuse Stat with Hakeem next season, like you said, a few go to moves to keep the defense honest and spread the floor would be great. I always did marvel how LJ could post up big men, showed how commited he was to helping the team. Not many players at LJ's stage in his career would have considered it. Glad Amar'e is trying to go the same route. |
