Mark my words. Pablo will be a great addition to the backcourt with mutiple assists, steals, and some added points. You can bank on it!

I hope he isn't. I hope he is Pablo, who from what I've read is a stronger and better player than most in New York think. I get the part that he may be the next Lin in playing great and seemingly coming out of.nowhere, but comparisons to Lin, when the subject is still so fresh in fans' minds, could work against Pablo the way they are driving most of the hate against Felton.

The only downside is that he is 35.

I think so as well but as mattshaw78 said, it will be limited as he is up there in age. His best years are behind him where as Lin has the best... never-mind, too painful to revisit.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

I think he is a good pickup, but how much time will he really be getting with Kidd and Felton on the roster?

For him to get significant time, Felton or Kidd will have to get hurt. As it is, you wonder if Kidd was expecting to be on a team where Felton is seemingly going to get the most minutes, and would Felton be willing to sit, or sit back, during crunch time while Kidd orchestrates?

You now have 3 PGs who are used to starting, and need no tutoring from another PG about how to play, which is why the initial Lin/Kidd combo seemed to be such a good one, IMO.

What if Felton is fat, Kidd is old, and Prigioni is better than we think- Do you really expect Woodson to give the import more minutes than Felton and Kidd?

Unlike D'Antoni, Woodson doesn't play favorites and just plays whoever gives the team the best chance to win. You've seen it when he pulled JR or Landry, or Lin over to talk to them. If Felton is struggling, Woody will try to correct it, but he'll have no problem sitting him also.

Lin is a bum....I was just rooting for him because he was a knick. We finally have guards that are tall, strong and have the ability to guard PG and SG...especially in the post against bigger guards. Something Lin will never be able to do.

Right now he's insurance. I hope Prigioni plays well but if he does get extended PT its because someone is hurt or not getting the job done. I hope it doesn't get to that point.

Prigioni will be this year's Prigioni......

Linsanity is dead.....We will see which Lin comes to play in Houston.

My prediction....Everybody will see Lin get exposed.

...and watch how many of the posters her crying bloody murder over teh Knciks not matching Lin's bloated offer sheet will have NOTHING to say when that happens.

Let's see how many of them are man enough to eat their words and admit that they were dead-assed wrong.

They'll be the next ones to get exposed, and that will be even funnier than the way they are crying about it now.

Be ready for the witch hunt, blkexec. we're gong to have to have our torches, pitch forks and other assorted form tools rprepared.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

every young player gets exposed. Thats how you get better, and nobody can question the kids work ethic. That wasnt the point. The point is we let our best prospect and starting PG walk for nothing because the owner's feelings got hurt

Though most of the financial analysts I read believed that signing him was the wrong move, and I am sure that this was relayed to Dolan, I do agree with you. I would have like him to stay.

I also believe (and I don't know this - just a hunch) that Lin could have played in the playoffs and many did not respect that he did not. I think that he was scared that if he plays badly (and I am sure he feared that against the heat from previous experiences) it would very negatively affect his contract - and it definitely would have.
