Ouch! I hated Lin leaving, but some of these people are taking it way way harder. Guess there's alot of "battered wives" out there.

Is this real? Last I checked he was a restricted free agent and it was up to NY to match the offer. The Knicks also signed two other point guards for gigantic money. I'm not seeing how this is Lin's fault. I would've thought Knick fans knowledgable enough to be mad at the Knicks not Lin. In their fantasy world, did these Knick fans actually expect Lin to reject Houston's $24 million offer to play for $700,000 in New York to be a 3rd stringer?

Seriously, this is what's wrong with the world. It's ok to be upset, but why do people feel it's ok to use a racial slur or degrade someone just because it's over a computer. It's never ok.

What's the point of this topic? So yes, lots of racists out there. I get it. Lots of illiterate folks out there, I get that too. He had no obligations to be loyal to the Knicks. The Knicks did not give him 'a chance'. They had no choice but put Jeremy out there because there's literally nobody else that can play those days. Every PG was hurt. He was not even on rotation. If you said Knicks was created by god, he would've stayed and take less pay to do the right thing I bet. He's just going for the maximum he can get financially before the possibilities of not making anymore. He turned down lucrative deals. I'm serious, lucrative deals comparable to Michael Jordan, etc. He was not even a Knicks a full year! On the other hand, our Knicks STATED PUBLICLY they will match anything. Did they? No. What's wrong with these degrading Knicks fans??? Seriously, we're already getting mocked by fans of other teams already. We already sunk so low and now thanks to this post, I'm gonna go get some buffet and stuff myself to death.

Agreed, that last comment was a bit funny. I was called a n once. Considering I'm as pasty white as grandma's socks, I considered it an honor.

Well, at least we didn't give up any draft picks or half the starting team to Houston.

And here I was hoping right up until the deadline that Dolan the Moron would match, if for no other reason than to prove the NY Times wrong and make them look stupid. Instead, I'm left with nothing and the spectre of IT hazing everything over again.

I will not post like that using my Facebook account. You could seriously get into trouble with those posts. Remember, your Facebook posts and your pics and even your account can be visible to a lot of people, including your employers and the government. Many of those posts are downright racist.

See - psychos came out of the woodwork because of Lin. Its really a shame. He does not deserve this - I wish him luck and am sad to see him go but Knicks life goes on.
