1. To the Knicks fans who keep asking: If you're going to switch allegiance to Brooklyn, it has to happen this summer. But I'm fine with it.

Not going to lie, this isn't the first time I've thought about quitting the team. I came close twice before; once near the end of the Layden error and again near the end of the Isiah error. Dolan just makes it so ****ing hard to be a Knicks fan.

Fuck Simmons. You either follow a team or you don't. It's nice if they win, but if you follow a team, their not winning is no reason to stop.

I will always love the Knicks and I'm die hard. I want be that Rangers fan who had the sign that read "Now I Can Die in Peace" after they win a championship.

The problem isn't overpaying or overpaying for players, it's about getting the right players to compete for a championship. Dolan is more concerned with his own ego than putting a championship caliber team on the floor.

Why has the media embraced all the Nets moves? They have added the worst contracts in the league- Joe Johnson for 4 years, Wallace at $10 mil for 4 years, Lopez for the max! If we'd signed those players for those amounts we would have been torn apart and ridiculed!

Yep, that, in a nutshell, is the difference between a True Fan and a fair weather bandwagon rider.

There were tons of them riding the Bulls' sack like that in the '90's. When they started losing after MJ left, they claimed to be "Jordan fans". I think most Knicks fans know chumps like that. Most of those same types ended up "Laker fans" when they started winning, too.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

This isn't about winning and losing, it's about an owner who cares more about his ego than winning a championship. This is about deciding whether or not to support an owner who's been kicking in the teeth of Knicks fans for over a decade.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, A true fan is one who backs his team despite who the owner is. Is one is just a casual follower of a team, they can switch up and bandwagon ride all they want. Personally, I can't stand bandwagon riders.

If this dude Bill Simmons wants to root for the Nyets over the Knicks, then that's on him. Most of that alleged "new Nets fanbase" are Knicks haters anyway, so I say good riddance to them. The Knicks are betetr off without fickle, half-assed fans, anyway.

I know a few dudes who were pseudo-Knicks fans back in the day, and were similarly pissed at Dolan, who is one of the worst owners in sports. They aren't considering themselves Knicks fans now, and I didn't consider them Knicks fans before.

Anyone who wants off the Knicks train can hop out now. Real fans don't need fickle fans polluting our circumference. Take a hike to Barclays Center, and don't let the door hit you on the way out! Believe me, you won't be missed!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I think if you're a casual fan you stopped following the Knicks at all until maybe Amare got signed.

Dolan is a douchebag but I can't imagine rooting for the Nets. With Billy King at the helm they're not exactly the picture of a well run franchise either.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

This. And Dolan is more concerned with selling tickets than actually winning a championship. He wouldnt mind winning a chip, but if he has to have some down years to get there then it isnt worth it.
