This is my 20,000th post in just over 8.5 years.

Sounds like a lot but thats an average just 6.5 posts a day.

Some longer than others. The "Starphuch Manifest" comes to mind as a long one!

off the top of my head I think I have visted about 12 countries in that time and even while traveling like to check in on the UK.

Its a form of entertainment.

Over the years some real good posters have come and gone. I have met a few and they are solid dudes. Sorry they don't visit as muc any more. Topics used to get quite heated and I learned a lot from them.

Some have longer post counts than me and have been gone over a year. Where is TMS now?

A few wack jobs have come and gone and they provided great entertainment until they melt down and go away.

I appreciate the efforts of Andrew and Martin who really have done a good job keeping things going.

I don't visit any other sites as time here is "bad enough".

Its been more about friendships and friendly banter than the knicks themselves that makes it fun.

8.5 years is a long time. This is like the neighborhood bar where we get to come in and discuss/argue the knicks and other things. Its fun!

I hope the Knicks can get a banner hoisted soon or at least before I go to the great "banner" in the sky.

IF not I'll root for the Nets to bring one to NYC. KNicks have had lots of time to get it done!

So many names I can't even begin to list the "guys" and few ladies that have been here! If I try I'll leave so many out!

I suppose if Martin can put an all time list of post counts many names will pop up! Be fun to look over.

And please take off the 20k count. 40,000 posts really looks bad!

I know people will be thorn on this because we just got another team in NY, but no Nets championship will be as important and valuable as a Knicks championship. Not trying to look like the ultimate Knicks fan, just imagining that possible moment and to me a Nets championship would be like the Mavs championship, where I rooted for them because I dislike Miami and when they won I was glad for them but not happy.

On second thought, it wouldn't because I don't like the Nets much...
