They are playing a dangerous game but are very close to putting together and epic roster that could contend.
I said long ago the Brooklyn thing is no joke and to take them very serious.
IF they get howard they will have done what the knicks have long tried and failed at.
Its all on paper and we'll have to see how it all comes together but its been quite a story.
I think the Russian is giving these guys gold bars out like candy bars at halloween cuz its like a damn fairy tale week for them.
Some of you laughed cuz the nets have sucked and think it will always.
Yep, difference between the Russian and Dolan.
Russian got more $ and it is HIS, not family or daddy's.
No shame in that but Dolan is just a FUDGE UP, that keeps getting involved and I swear Isiah Thomas is behind it.
Dolan is such a control freak and must have things his way, when it doesn't work, he blames everyone but himself.
The Russian, stays out of decision making on basketball decisions, he hires people to make those decisions.
He just lets them know, I am willing to pay a premium for talent.
Yes, Walsh has fault for not executing on Lebron, while building a team that would compliment his skills.
But he would have never made that trade, no one trades 3-4 starters for one player, with bad contracts, and draft picks.
I think he would have targeted a premier PG and a Center, while still collecting assets.
More importantly, that squad had chemistry and an identity, something we have been missing since.
That one pick, looks like NOTHING compared to our decision making for the past decade +
Wallace is a rare player, hes a bit older now, but there are not many players that has his size, skill set, and athleticism, basically a younger Marion.
He is no ALL STAR, but he isn't just a role player either.
He was the player that we hoped Wilson Chandler could have been for us.
I think Wilson Chandler has a better shot, penetration, shooting off the dribble, and Wallace has more post moves/size.
Wallace is a versatile player that can play 2-3 positions and is okay with doing the dirty and defending the best player.
Add Gereld Green and Marshan Brooks on to that squad, those are pretty good players to defend Wade/Lebron, without using Deron and Joe Johnson yet.
They "starphucked" at the right time with a plan, we do it with no plan and just pray.
