Actually would be an interesting trade. I like STAT and all but while he may not be considered an "injury prone" player (as opposed to a walking injury risk), I am tired of dealing with him because he seems to be that guy that crap just happens too.

If Atlanta trades Joe Johnson I doubt they make it to the playoffs. Plus I see them throwing Marvin into the deal as well.

Nets have almost agreed on a contract with Gerald Wallace, 4 years $40mil. Good to see that new cba's working!

I believe the Nets only have 13 mil in committed salary even with Farmar reupping.

It is a bad deal- I was being sarcastic- Wallace is about to start declining I think, and $40 mil is too much. When you look at some of the deals out there already being rumoured to be offered (max contract for Hibbert?!), and it just shows that no matter what cba you have, dumb gm's will always triumph.

Just saw this Joe Johnson to NJ deal could get done today. Don't know how this affects Humphries standing but right now their starting 5 cold be:

C-Lopez
PF-?
SF-Wallace
SG-Johnson
PG-Deron

Don't know how they'd fill out the roster be ause guys like Morrow would be gone, but that has the makings of a pretty good squad.

Really? You think? Not a really good defensive squad, but theyll score and have one of the best PGs in the game to lead them. I think they'd be a top 6 seed.

this is crazy Joe Johnson at his contract, and age would eventually be just as bad of a contract as Amare's.
If they are willing to trade for Joe Johnson, a max deal for Harden will be better to put OKC to the test.

Atlanta is looking to retool and moving Josh Smith (to LAL for Gasol?)
and JJ would leave them with Horford and Teague as a nucleus to build around.
Personally, I like what they're doing....Smith has been unhappy in ATL for
a while and Gasol would benefit from a fresh start.
