Is it that time again for his soccer tournaments for charity it must be that is why he is in the papers again. I like the cause but honestly piss off. We already know its all about the money he even stated it, why are the paper reporter on his jock. Every year we have to deal with this, Nash wants to be a Knick, Nash will listen, same shyt again and again.

It doesn't even really make sense money aside. Why would he come off the bench/split time with and mentor Jeremy Lin when he still has game. I doubt that's how he wants to finish his career. Someone like Kidd has declined more and would be more willing to do so but not this guy.

That is precisely it, Nash is already on the record saying he is going to take the most money offered to him. Haven't they heard about this, this is BS reporting every year they pull the same article out and reiterate it. They can write about so much more than this bull crap, draft, players working out in LA, players Knicks are high on in the draft. Chandler, Melo and the Olympics. Lin working on his game in prep for Olympic practice squad. I'm tired of hearing about Nash, Kidd and whatever big name they associate to the Knicks. If they are going to put this out there explain how the Knicks plan to do this. Alan Hann put that the Knicks are interested in Nash, Kidd, Mayo and so on, it really is nice to put the names in there but how are they going to get them explain please.

Also, guys like Kidd will likely want to sign with a bonafide contender. We are a few pieces away from being in that class. Why take a discount to sign with NY....doesn't make sense unless it's a move done for family reasons. Just another fake hustles if it comes from the players and complete BS if coming from the media
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I think we have a great shot at Kidd.

Miami-can only offer vet min
Lakers-are going with someone younger like gortat or felton
OKC-no
spurs-no
celtics-no
clippers-no
dallas-no

Teams he would go to:

Nets-They are not contenders and why backup Dwill when he can get more minutes backing up Lin. But could offer more $$
Chicago-No Derrick Rose
NY-Yes

I would love to get Kidd and from what I have read he wants to play less minutes and would be open to mentoring a guy like Lin. Kidd was a tremendous leader on the Nets (almost Messier like). I think he brings so many great qualities to a team that if the Knicks could get him it would be a great offseason.

Exactly right. Why blame Nash?

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Nash is not jerking the knicks around.

Fans allow the media to jerk them off.

If you feel angry getting hand jobs from the media then don't let them go down on you!

We gave up any chance at Nash when we forced D'Antoni out....

Nash is a loyal guy so after what was done to D'Antoni, there is no way he comes here since we can't even give him the $ to make up for it.

If loyalty was the case he would have followed MDA to NY.

Most of the fans are smart enough to know and call out BS when they see it. Nash and Media are at their yearly BS.

I disagree with your first sentence. Its about the money. If it was about loyalty he never would have become a Sun a second time.

Note, I'm not saying it is all about loyalty...I'm saying that we can't even offer Nash that by getting rid of D'Antoni.

We never had the money to begin with so that put us at a disadvantage either way. But once the loyalty factor went against us as well....then I think that really did us in and ensures we have no legit shot at him.

We never had more than the MLE to offer him and the one time he could have been a free agent...we couldn't even offer him a competitive team which is why he extended 2 more years with the Suns (2 years at $22 million).

What I'm saying is, we could never give him the money but what we could have offered him had D'Antoni been here....is a shot at winning in a familiar offensive system implemented by his former Coach. With D'Antoni here, we would have had a shot at least.

D'Antoni wasn't coming back after this season but he did choose to resign. Nash wants to win and he wants to get paid. You are right in saying the Knicks can't pay him but I don't think D'Antoni's situation comes into play. I think if Nash thought he could win in NY and the KNicks could pay him he would come to NY.
