Cant say that I have seen him--but other than his skin color he looks like Chris Kaman

Draftnet has the Knicks taking him in their most recent mock at 48.

He looks something in between Jorts and Kaman, looks like a project similar to Jort's 1st year.
But if we have Jorts already, I don't know if we can afford a roster spot for him, especially if Jordan stays.
They are not mobile enough to play PF.
He might fall out of the draft.

Kyle O'Quinn, looks smaller, but much more mobile.
Not sure if he has legit size a PF.

Not sure if anything of these guys are even better than a player like Ivan Johnson, D leaguer that played at Atlanta.

Bernard James should get a close look. 27 years old means he's a 2nd round pick at best. His skillset suggests he can be a very quality backup big man who can impact on the defensive end right away.

Bases on that clip, he never ever misses! That would work

lol. He legitimately looks like a version of Chris Kaman--whether he is guarded by a chair or anything else how many 6-11 265 pd guys can shoot like that with that form in and out. Hes got more length than Harrelson look how quick and perfect his release is

I believe he had the longest hands at the nj combine 10 3/4 inches if ism remembering correctly.

Usually guys dont shoot well with hands that big--this guy is going to be a unique niche player --if he can play inside gain strength and explosion(although he is a big kid) hes going to be a steal. He reminds me of a Bull when Jordan was there a 6-11 skill player with size.

Good call. He reminds me of Wennington, Longley and Purdue.

I would take a Wennington 2.0 if he fell to us and the other hopefuls are off the board. Can only help to have a big body and to preserve Tyson's career.

How is he any better than who we already have on roster?

He's longer than Harrelson with more post moves and a pure shot. He's taller with longer arms and looks more mobile. Harrelson is undersized

Harrelson is a better defender, rebounder and is pretty tough while this guy might be soft

Jorts is only 6'10 but plays bigger. Already as best post defender. Stays on his feet and puts his hands up high and his wide frame/low center of gravity is immovable, nice outside touch and around the basket. Should be out there with Hakeem. He needs to loose the baby fat and work on his agility and stop shooting 3's and will be a solid contributor for years in the league. I really want to see him and Odom as the bigs off the bench

Man you guys are nuts if you don't think a 2nd rd'er like this couldn't be useful. Thx for posting this Briggs, I saw him listed on Draftnet and thought "who the heck is this?" I really like his agility for such a big kid and that offensive repertoire is amazing. Unguarded or not when do you see a guy his size with that kind of variety to his game. He's like Okur and Kaman for sure. Great touch from all over the court. He's not taking long to release the ball so he should be able to get shots off in the NBA. Hey I think he'd already be more useful than Jordan ever was.

You are right, "we can never use enough shooters, that have another skill set"
I do think that Jordan or Jorts has has to go though, if they select him.
