I know Philly was interested in Amare.

Igoudala is a skilled player and would be great from SG with his ability to finish and distribute.

Melo, Igoudala, and Lin could be very potent.

Iggy is not the SG you need playing alongside Melo. If you move Melo to PF then Iggy to SF then maybe but you will need to get a tall SG that can shoot. Like Shane Battier.

Assuming Lin is back Lin looked at his best when he was penetrating and able to go 1 on 1 with his defender.

If Lin and Melo can hit shots it would open things up for Igoudala who is a good passer and finisher. Basically Lin could SG on offense while Igoudala absorbs PG duties.

The available SG's in our price range is looking horrific and I have zero confidence in Amare actually producing next year.

No need to worry if they can co-exist...cuz the trade will never happen

Ned aka "thefantasytrade buster"...lol

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

AWESOME. another shooting guard that can't shoot. Might as well keep Louzy Fields if we want to see someone shoot bricks.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Can't shoot? Iggy shot the ball extremely well from 3-point this season and has always been a very good mid-range shooter/scorer.

If we could somehow bate Philly into stupidly making this trade or any trade that nets us Iggy and rids us of Amare, I will dance naked in the streets of San Fran

Pretty much. I realize Igoudala is not the ideal SG. However we aren't getting Joe Johnson or Kevin Martin for Amare.

Amare is going to be a cap killer. At least Igoudala can defend, handle the ball, pass, and finish around the rim.

on't really care about the position. Iggy's game meshes perfectly with Melo's

if this is a legit possibility, hopefully it happens now

I'm of the opinion that iffy can mesh anywhere. Imagine a backcourt with Shump defending the point guards and Iggy handling most of the playmaking. Or Lin playing off the ball while Iggy dribbles under heavy defensive pressure. The problem isn't Iggy's game, but his contract.

Philly is going nowhere. They got eliminated by Boston and Iggy scored a whopping 13 ppg.

Obviously Iggy is highly overpaid but so is Amare.

Plus Philly has Evans who appears to be a poor mans Brandon Roy at worse.
