This is a real feel good story, props to Eddie Curry, he was not involved with any questionable ref calls, did not flop, he did not yell at refs and avoid technical fouls, he avoided all fouls ! Not one the whole playoffs, unless I am mistaken.

Makes me wonder just how many ex-Knicks players got a bunch of money while playing as a Knicks then left the Knicks and then got a championship ring that we never gotten in all these 40 years? Might be a long list..

I always think it must be weird for players who know that they haven't played or contributed anything towards the team achieving the championship (Adam Morrison), but still have to pose for all the pictures and accept the ring- do they delude themselves that turning up to practice somehow made the win possible, or do they feel like imposters?

I have 2 thoughts on this subject.
1. It is funny that Curry and his contract was the reason we did not have enough cap space for the big 3.
2. Curry will sell his ring for money within a year of actually recieving it. He seems to have bad money management skills.

You can hate. I think riley did this to throw one at the knicks. also you joke about how players feel if they didn't contribute on the court for the ring. There's other ways to contribute. Being a motivator, playing hard in practice, being a good personality all these and more matter for a team to grow. Also some teams need food runners, water getters, door openers and guys that can make good jokes.

Roll the dice and eddy fell into one of those categories maybe.
