Bank on it! You ask how he and Riles can possibly coexist together? Rings more important to legacy than how well the relationship between coach/gm. same goes for Riles

Made for television. Miami truly goes Hollywood. Trade Wade and hand Jax a well balanced machine centered around Lebron & Bosh. As much as I hate Lebron Jax will undoubtedly get him his ring

I predict Jerry Sloan. I agree that Jackson going off the reservation probably wouldn't sit well with Riley because of their history. Riley was a tough coach and it paid off for Miami. I think he's saying to himself Sloan is what they need right now. Someone who might not have a championship pedigree but knows how to get the most out of his players and has a resume good enough to garner respect from their "big three". No more Mr. nice guy for a coach.

I thought I hated the Miami heat, Pat Riley, and The Zen Master before. That would be brutal

I think JVG loves the media too much. He loves giving his opinion and getting opportunity to take pot shots at David Stern

Jackson Shmackson who cares about a guy with 10 rings that wanted to coach here? Isiah and Dolan are having a woody together. We have another 3-5 years of first round exits to look forward to. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I think he is so passionate about winning, preperation etc when he coaches that it tears him up. I think being in the media allows him to be a family man while remaining involved in the sport. Great article on Jeff's life after coaching.

Screw that - a well-coached Wade-Lebron combo going up against Durant-Harden-Westbrook would be awesome to watch and great for the league.

It'll never happen. Pat Riley and Phil Jackson hate each other, Riley would never hire Phil and Phil would never agree to work under Riley.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

When did a Jax-Riles rivalry exist?

I don't recall the "hate"?
