This team is a ****ing embarrassment. Another circus. I give up. Enjoy the NBA record for most consecutive playoff losses. I'm tired of this bull****. The Heat were off their game tonight and were completely beatable and we played like garbage when it mattered. Look forward to getting swept in the playoffs again. This team is good on paper, but in practice, this is a team not that much over .500 who can't compete with elite teams. There is absolutely no reason - NONE - that we shouldn't have been the third seed this season. The fact that we weren't is am embarrassment. Blame coaches, players, chemistry, injuries, whatever... In most other cities, they make this kind of talent work, but some how the Knicks are cursed. Fucking pissed. This team is the Mets of basketball. I don't know why I root for them. Sigh. Grrrargh!

P.S.: The above post showed more fire than the Knicks showed in the fourth quarter.

Let's be real about the record it'means of the useless records out there. Knicks need to go back to the drawing board.

Have to make it to the playoffs to lose in the playoffs.

The pre-Melo team wouldnt have had to worry about getting the record for most losses in the playoffs.

To be honest, getting swept last season was more understandable. The Knicks 8th or 9th man this season is as good as the 4th to 5th best player on the Knicks in the playoffs last season. We basically didn't have 2/3 of that core for most of the playoff series, Carmelo tried to carry the team and our bench played better than the scrubs they were. This playoffs, we just don't have the effort and are underachieving. I can deal with losing to the Heat. Getting swept again... no. Giving no effort... unacceptable.

One word: Gutless.

Thats true. I felt like this was Game 4 since there is no point the play another game its just keeping the torture going

I agree with this, but that being said... only one team go swept in the first round last season. Might we be the only team to get swept in the first round again this season? How we can even have hope if we can't even win a ****ing game? It's not talent; it's effort.

Next year this team better get into the top 3 or 4. Like you said the effort needs to be there even against the Cavs. whehn you think about it the Cavs pretty much ended our season early because they played inspired and we didnt give a damn that game

Knicks got to the playoffs on Melo putting his team on his back.

This team is eerily similar to the McGrady teams in Orlando. Amare acting as Grant Hill.

In the playoffs you can win a few games with a single star going balls to the walls but that isn't going to get you far.

The Heat have 3 star players. Dudes can joke all they like but any of their big 3 can light you up in the playoffs.

That sounds nice right now.

The Knicks should go watch some Rocky movies before game 4 and don't show up unless you're going to prove you have some balls. I hope we do not see Lin in game 4. There is no point in rushing him back this season.

Btw, Woodson coming back as coach next year... I'm sorry, but if we get swept, he should not come back. It's a ****ing embarrassment. Hold the ****ing team accountable, fine Amar'e $100k for his ****ing selfish stupidity and bench guys for being lazy. What happened to the ****ing accountability? Ball movement? None. Defense? Not when it mattered. MDA had the team better prepared in the playoffs last season than we were for this series; we simply didn't have the firepower last season. This season we have the firepower and we don't have the effort or preparation. Fuck this team.

Are you ignoring the fact that this team is playing without 3 starters which is also 3 of our top 5 scorers? Seriously, who is scoring for us other than Melo or JR? I thought we played tremendous defense in the first half, but in the second half, particularly the 4th Q, the HEAT superstars came alive and made tough shots.

Sometimes you have to give the other team credit. The Heat are one of the best defensive teams I've seen in a long time. Going up against that defense with Melo and JR as your only reliable scoring options is asking for trouble.

What Amare did should impact Amare not Woodson's future. I think Uptown makes good points. I don't think the Knicks get swept by any other eastern conference team and I think there is a good chance the team advances. The Heat are probably going to win a title this year. They have a ton of talent.
