Anyone else watching the Nets game? I'm kind of sad that there's not going to be a team in NJ anymore; I have some good memories of going to Nets games when I was a kid.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Of course not, that's why they're moving.

Meanwhile, the governor of NJ, Chris Christie, pretty much tells them to f*** off.

Newark is a vibrant city?

This is a terrible game by the way, it reminds me of most Knicks from 2002 through 2010.

I am going to put it on now. I have watched the Nets a lot over the years. Ross and Rafferty drove me nuts with their broadcasts.

Avery Johnson has coached the Nets the last two seasons. So what have they improved on?
"For us, our team didn't even know how to practice. Now there's a good spirit about practice," Johnson replied.

Perfect.

I'm sure a few years in Brooklyn and they might even develop a good spirit about the actual games.

I think they'll have to wait until they see if the Nets can survive in Brooklyn.

The only time the Nets sold out was when the Knicks played them. Unless Stern is going to let the Knicks play the new NJ team 41 times, I'm not sure the NYC metro area can support 3 franchises.

U might be right. If anything they will put a team in central/south jersey and compete withphilly. That fanbase doesn't make it to the garden they go to philly and root for the sixers

You know that'd pack out the house. Could not even imagine the half time show...

Is that a real picture or photoshop. The Brooklyn Dodgers while and blue look is cool but not feeling the red numbers and outlining

Is that the logo? The "B" looks cool.

I gotta say, seeing the "Brooklyn" on the floor kind of gets me excited!

personally I don't care if its the Nets, its the "Brooklyn" thing and the branding that gets me exited.

I think its great for NY basketball and the more intense the rivalry the better.

I'd just assume the Knicks be the top dog because they are successful and not by the Nets being lousey.
