woodson is doing a great job, i have to admit. i have an idea he would anyway with what he did with a brutal atlanta team before he came there. now the question is whether he is the long term answer or not. how will ha have to finish in order to keep his job? he is dealing with a depleted team and making them win but the remaining schedule is unforgiving. this is the stretch that can change everything, whether we will move up or out of the playofff race. i say if he gets this team into the playoffs, he should be our permanent coach, unless we get phil jax and then all bets are off.

As much as I hate admitting this, the only thing really stopping Woodson from actually getting the job is the fact that bigger names might be available.

The injuries are somewhat unfairly going to put his job at risk. I think Dolan will wait till after the playoffs to make a decision. He always seems to drag everything out.

Heard Stein on the radio this morning talking about this. He said he thinks its Woodson's job unless PJax wants it. I would prefer Woodson. I can't move on from when Phil was coach of the Bulls and I really like what Woodson has done so far with the team.

I hope Woodson is here next year. i mean our only two losses under Woodson have been with a depleted roster. i mean when at full strength with Woodson we look unbeatable. its a shame because of the injuries because we were looking liek we were gonna take over the atlantic

I prefer Woodson over Phil. Phil is a bit older these days with his best days probably behind him. I mean his health was an issue.

Woody is yound and has that fire to succeed here. He has he experience and I like his system more, especially once Lin is back. Lin on Phil's team would not use Lin well.

I'd take Phil Jackson over Woodson, but I'd take Jackson over any coach. I wish Jackson would tell the Knicks he isn't interested so they'd hire Woodson, I guess.

Guys are funny:

PJax has 11 rings.

Woodson does not.

Ok, what about:

Phil has won 11 rings in 20 years coaching?

Kobe did not have any before he got with Phil.

Jordan was in the league 7 years before he got a ring.

Until that point Jordan was not a god.

Woodson is a nice guy, good coach, the abyss for a beard is real cool.

Guess how many rings Woodson has? One as assistant coach with......Larry Brown.

Thats good. very happy for him.

If phil don't want to leave the ranch or the booty of Malibu Im good with Woodson.

How about this, as long as Woodson is around, so is the ghost of Isiah.

Phil jax comes in item no. 28 reads:

"No one named Isiah Lord shall ever step on the property of MSG"

Dolan says no. Phil not an issue.

Phil: 11 rings in 20 years. He comes when ever and as long as he wants to. Even if its to starphuck and fail miserably. Why? The drama will be great!

Phil first. If he doesn't want the job than keep Woodson. He is able to hold the players accountable. That is a rare trait in today's NBA.

The only way I see Phil Jackson coming here is if he tells Little Jimmy to GTFO of his way.

PJAX is a legend there is no question but i'm not sure he wants to come out of retirement again at his age. I think a full season with Woodson with all our guys back healthy will be a great thing

If he doesn't come he doesn't come. But that doesnt mean you don't ask him.

Wooody seems like a good match for the team. He has had success. I don't see PJax wanting to coach this team any way, I really don't. We don't have an MJ, Kobe or Shaq. Why does he want to coach this team? He doesn't. I don't know why we keep fantasizing about it.

Not good enough - I settle for nothing less than a 4 game sweep beating the west by an average of 25 points per.

I say sign him now while he's winning. He got the job and gave us that drill sergeant feel that we've really needed.

I'm willing to ignore that he's chased Fields back into a hole, blew out Lin's knee and Stats back with this awesome 'pace'.

I prefer to go into rough parts of the schedule with only 20% of the starting roster, so he's left a bit to be desired, but as long as we strut into the playoffs with nothing but bench players available, I can overlook the regular season.

Just sign him, now.

Once again. Can't tell if your serious. If you are not, its pretty funny
