With all the devastating news recently, it's time for a feel good story. I hope Toney D can step it up now and help lift this team is time of need. I'm not hoping for much, just to give 15-20 minutes of quality ball. It's obvious BD will break down any minute, and Bibby is just a space eater. We need you Toney!

Maybe the slower offensive sets helps him...He was making poor decisions in MDA's offense..I think he can play better in the half court, hit some open J's...Let's go TD...What a freaking year...

Definitelty need to get Doiuglas back in the rotation. Bibby isn't adding much. Besides, with all the games missed, you have to figure Douglas shoulder should be healed.

I'm looking forward to stretches of Shump and TD playing the passing lanes and pressuring the other teams guards.

Yeah. I think Douglas will look better now that the offense is slower and has more iso plays.

TD took a nice little stop and pop to end the game. Hopefully he does get that swag back, because the way were are D' ing up we are in every game and a couple of points off the bench could make the world of a difference.

He was HORRIBLE tonight as usual... I'm sorry I've lost all hope with him. Too much dribbling, bad passing, poor decisions, his shot is off, and he always loses focus on d...

He wasn't that bad considering he hasn't had much run. He looked rusty when he firt got in bu made a nice drive for a 3 point play and hit a jumper towards the end of the game. With Lin out TD needs to step up and I hope he does.

I'd like to see him redeem himself- he used to be okay for us (made stupid decisions and bad TO's, but could score and play okay defense) and I like his work ethic.

All aspects of his game have become awful this season- maybe at the very least, Woodson can get him playing defense again (this was good his first year, but got worse last year- maybe the D'Antoni effect, as the same happened with Fields).

At least TD now actually looks like he did last year- he's lost that extra bulk he was carrying at the start of the year- his arms have lost some muscle, which may help him refind his shot. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm kind of rooting for him. The problem is, at his best he's pretty much just a poorer version of JR Smith- even if he played great, he ain't a point guard.

Toney Douglas sucks.
I'd rather see a D-League call up than him.

That's why they have real coaches and scouts instead potato couch coaches with a computer thinking they know it all on forums. Hey give Dolan a call and give him your recommendations.

The Knicks just extended Douglas to another year two months ago so they have a bit invested in him. However, watching Donald Sloan run the Cavs so well makes it apparent that there are guys available that might be more help running the team immediately in the d-l.

If he can dribble the ball up the court, throw an entry pass to Melo in the post, hit open shots and give effort on defense, he'll make the rotation as a point guard.

Screw rust. He's always the same. Over aggressive on the ball that gets him 10 feet behind his man or sleeping off the ball. His defense blows and his offense shouldn't need any explanation.
