They gave up a top 3 restricted pick for G wallace--is IT giving them advice? When you are 15-29 with 20 games to go--you trade your pick for a 31 YO SF who's best days are long gone? Id rather traded for Beasley if that was the case.

It's Billy King, another brilliant GM.

Yeah, it's worse than the Isiah move. At least it was the start of the season and Isiah misjudged how good the team would be. Here the Nets already know they're gonna have a good lottery pick.

I can't get over asinine a move this is. Time to go to the nj.com/nets forum for more entertainment on this subject. See what their fans think

I bet Dwill goes to Dallas, Orlando or LA

Just a stupid move all around. Without Dwight Howard(maybe D-Will soon too)You stockpile picks and go for youth if you're the Nets, you just don't give them away???

Yea, I can't get over sending a lotto pick for Gerald Wallace.

Why a lotto pick for Gerald Wallace?

that would be true if the Nets actually had a fanbase of note

that is true most of their fans during the kidd years were bandwagon metro area fans who were "knicks fans" who unfortunately now are Knicks fans once again

Billy King is going to destroy all of the work Rod Thorn did in two years. He is looking like a lot like Isiah with his moves.

The have stated they are not in love with anyone other than 3 players in this draft.

I suppose if they get Bropez back, with Gerald they can make a run out of the lottery and build from that.

Personally, I don't get it either. Wallace looks cooked at times and this draft is going to have some sleepers in it.

Maybe Nets feel the need to Starphuch going into Brooklyn?

Maybe this "Chess game" is being played over our heads and we don't get it.

I know Im not getting yesterdays trade on paper.

Maybe Deron said "get me Gerald Wallace and I'll stay, don't get me rookies that will take 3 years to develop.

Next year they get to play the Dwight sweepstakes all over again.

I agree about Wallace looking cooked at times. If he can get his intensity back a frontline of BRopez, Wallace, and Humphries is very good. Lopez's lack of rebounding certainly wouldn't be an issue.

I am LOVING how hard the Nyets are about to crash and frikkin' BURN...

They really thought that they were going to build some powerhouse 1-2 punch, move theri funk azzes to my home borough and attempt to take over an area that has been KNICKS territory for over half a century???

KARMA dealt with them, and continues to. Let Proky and his cronies spend theri marketing dollars to push saps like Kris Dum-phries and Gerald Wall-ass as the face of their team as theyt open theri new arena later this year.

That's WTF the Nyets get. Go on and SUFFER. I can't wait to walk the 16 blocks to that feces-colored arena to waqtch my Knicks wipe their butts with the Nets.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
