It'll be interesting to see if Nalod, nixluva and the MDA GOAT crowd will cheer if this team plays well.

Nalod is good people and open minded. You should not loop him in here. He does not just see things as black and white.

I'm a GOAT and I want us to win. I'm happy to see this effort tonight, but I'm confused as to how it could come today, but not yesterday. I don't ever think MDA wanted to hold anyone back, and I'm sorry it didn't work out with him. Here's to hoping for a playoff push and unity. Because that's what we all want - unity. MDA wanted to preach it, but couldn't get it out of the players. Too bad.

All I can say is that I like to see the team smiling and buddying it out, I just can't see why they were unable to do that with MDA. Water under the bridge now.

i will always cheer for the knicks, but i don't have to like the way this went down. i didn't even think MDA was the best ever, i just thought it was obvious he was doing a good job and melo was dogging it.

i hope the knicks win a lot from now on. but the way he clearly quit on the team for the past month or so has damaged my opinion of melo pretty severely. hard to root for him.

1 game and if you know the board posters more they are just passionate Knicks fan.

I don't know any of us that are fans of Coaches ahead of the team. How can that be the case with a franchise that has had record numbers of head coaches??? I like any serious fan just want to see the team win regardless of whether I like the coach or not. I've been a fan since 73, why would I be so put off about a coach. This is just the warped view of those that don't understand that arguing on behalf of a player or coach doesn't supersede loyalty to team.

I'm still furious at how this went down but even if I threaten to go to the Nets.....I would obviously never do that. Just pissed that we handed the keys to our franchise to a selfish star player that apparently was dogging it and never gave D'Antoni a fair shake.

Team always comes first and while there have certainly been times where I wish I wasn't a Knicks fan....I bleed orange and blue and am not going to quit.

I think I have some hope because I'm on the young side and I want to think that Dolan won't always own this team....

That's not cool, Nalod basically posts about his name sake reversed being the cause of everything wrong with the knicks.

Second, Nixluva shouldn't be knocked either. He is needed because he is in alot of knicks coaching meetings and has the ability to get into MDA's brain during anytime he was a live to tell us, the meek and slow witted basketball fans, on this site exactly what is right if you disagree with the coach. He's more fan than all of us combined!!!

I've been a loyal fan since 73. I love this team and support this team thru good and bad times. The arguments i've made on behalf of the coach I fully stand by, but the support of a coach or player never supersedes my support for the team. I resent the fact that some posters here want to make this a personal war between some posters against others, but really what is all the glee about? Why are some so happy at the failure of a team and our coach? I always want the coach to succeed because he's coaching my team. There are those that openly rooted for MDA to fail so that he could be replaced. I'VE NEVER wanted that to happen. Have fun at my expense all you want but I know where my loyalty lies and I never really want to see the team fail.

Totally agree with you, I never question another persons fan hood............. or there mental capacities either. Fans may have different takes, but everyone is an outsider looking in.

Let woodson know he did a great job in the next meeting Nux.

j/k.

Since Melo came back, Knicks were 2-8 under MDA. Since Melo came back, Knicks are 1-0 under Woodson. Its offical, Woodson is the better coach, just look at the facts, numbers dont lie

Knicks are 183 games under .500 since JVG left the building.

In 1994 my second child was born in late spring. A beautiful daughter. When you have a newborn, your home bound and watch the playoffs.

After the knicks lost I was really upset for few hours. I realized that Ewing don't care about me, don't put food on the table, and dolan don't care either.

After 18 years Im still here though.

Im here almost 10 years and suported Chaney and his honest effort. Supported Layden because I thought he was clearing up the roster and we saving assets. It was reported he was not for getting Marbury. I did not like Isiah from day one. I respected Larry Brown and supported him over Isiah. Who doesn't like Herb. I could not stand isiah on the bench. I liked MDA in PHX, supported his vision here, and will like him where ever he goes.

I thought the Dice thing was a nice try. I hated the marbles deal and the Eddy deal. I liked DLee and Gallo, and really liked watching Mozzy.

I really supported Donnie. Perfectly fine with the clearing job and the run at Lebron.

I liked Grunwald in Toronto and he is a good man.

Did not like Melo in denver and was not happy about the price we paid for him.

I like Melo and think he is trying but has not succeeded.

I am excited over the prospect the Nets could get Dwight and love the move to Brooklyn and the savvy of the owner.

Nalod walk to his own beat, is a thinker not a media ditto head, and thinks competition is healthy.

I'll keep rooting for the team but in 1994 I lost the passion. even a knick championship would be irrelevant.

What matters is the "journey".

I am not just saying this but I enjoy your posts more than anyone on this board. I love that you do not see things as black and white and actually think on your own and do not just blindly adopt views of other real thinkers.

Keep writin' man!

And btw, until this thread, I had no clue what the name "Nalod" represented.

I don't get all the hand-wringing over Melo, probably, forcing MDA out; players have been getting coaches fired for years. Off the top of my head: Magic, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Ewing, Marbury, DWill, Kidd, CP3, Jamal Crawford and Ray Felton, Demarcus Cousins, a terrible Pistons team last year, Lebron, Vince Carter, and probably a hundred other guys that I'm forgetting. It's a crappy thing to do but also very common. If we're winning, nobody's going to remember or care.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
now that he's gone
