And people are bitching about Lin not performing well? He's performing exactly how a guy who's being paid $800K should perform. In my opinion, he's being ask to do too much.

Melo is the superstar and the crutch of the team. He's under performing He's not even trying to win. At the end of the day, he gets to sit down and think "Man, I've got my millions anyway"

This is why some people hates the NBA and loves College basketball more. The idea that a bunch of over paid clowns are running up and down the court not giving a damn is annoying to watch.

Give Melo to some other team and bring in someone who plays with passion and heart. We really don't need Melo at all. Superstars sometime damages the team chemistry simply because they overshadow everyone else.

Not liking the way this whole Melo thing is going. I know it's gonna take some time to mesh, but we were meshing when Melo wasn't playing. I really hope they figure this thing out quick cause Melo isn't going anywhere.

It's been a rough year for Melo. He has been slumping and up and down all year. I wouldn't kick dirt on the guy so quickly cuz he can easily snap out of it. Last year he was on fire and this year not so much. He's not a bum. He's just not playing well. There's a HUGE difference.

Look we need to stop bashing our players so harshly. This is the team we have and will have for a while cuz no one is taking on the players we have like STAT and Melo with the money they get. Especially not of they're struggling. We have to hope that they snap out of it as it seems STAT is doing.

Everyone needs to back someone. Either you bash Melo and then its not MDA's fault, or, you bash MDA and say that it's not Melo fault.

Really..melo a clown...it wasnt clown when hey dropped 42 pts 15 rbs and 8 ast into the playoffs..

I think the frustration with Melo is that he should quit talking and start focusing on playing proper basketball without any bullshyt politics or hidden agenda.

Thats the way things have been going around here for years. We constantly pit one knick vs. the next. Remember all of the Gallo vs. Chandler threads? Houston vs. Spree? Melo vs. Stat and now the new flavor is Melo vs. Lin. There's a Lin vs. Melo poll currently going on right now.

More likely it is a combination of things - teams figuring out how to play Lin, a difficult stretch of games. And Melo coming back from an injury (and being Melo) and Amare no longer the player he once was...

It's true, but some of those factors are heavier than others.

Melo was really in a no-win situation coming back. But i think he will figure it out. I am starting to think him and Stoudemire won't figure it out together tho.

We lost at San An, Boston, Miami, and Dallas, 3 of the top 8 teams on the road and it all Melo's fault. As if, the Bill Walker, JJ, Lin lineup would beat any of those teams. Its not as black-n-white as most on this board want us to believe. Melo return does not equal loses. The schedule, lack of D, and poor in game coaching takes more of the blame.
