How crappy is this schedule. The Knicks play one game in five days, but there are back to back and B2B2Bs!?!?!

I always hate the schedule anyway, but I know I could direct a better schedule than these idiots. It's not like the Rangers are at the Garden the four other nights and the same for the away arenas.

Pay me what their paying the schedulers and I'd have this crap ironed out every year!

This happens a lot where there are B2B or B2B2B and then multiple days off. It's ridiculous.

We have a VERY DEEP TEAM. Other teams are not so deep and have a similar schedule.

If the coach plays 10 or 11 guys, and it looks like he will, I think we will be fine - at least relative to other teams.

I don't like the scheduling but it actually can be to our advantage due to our depth.

I love them. I'm in Germany and it's one of the few times I don't have to get up at 1:30AM or 2AM to catch a game!

You have NO IDEA what that first 10 day stretch was like when Lin was going off. Mas was I tired. Before he got his first minutes against NJ I ordered league pass and prior to that I swore I wouldn't pay that kind of money (I mean the team sucked) but I had to see what I felt was true - what he could be (and yeah, I am patting myself on the back.) ;-)

But I'm a teacher and don't work everyday, so I could manage. Eventually, I'll just wake up and watch the games without knowing the score in the morning (same effect I think).

But thanks for your respect, back at you.

ps - I got a nice autographed Panini Lin card and a few non autographed. I really feel like Lin cards are going to be worth something, even with their high prices now. Kid is going to be special.

I was throwing in the towel. The games were crap and Stat/Melo was pissing me off.

Night before the superbowl wife and I were feeding 12 kids before they went off to a dance. Turned on game against Net with Mrs. Nalod giving me the "eye" as to say......" you said no game tonite!"......"Just the second half honey!......Mrs. Nalod is a loving women and sat down and watched the birth of "Linsanity" with me. I was rewinding his play and laughing out loud as Nash2 was being hatched!

The towel was going getting tossed, but Lin kept me in.

Nalod - You brought back a one of my best sports memories. At the time a 3 game stretch.

1st - Lin was discovered against NJ.
2nd - Giants won the superbowl
3rd - Lin gets his first start

Those three games (and the ones that followed) were the GREATEST I can ever remember seeing in such a small time span. Truly something special, amazing. I was physically drained yet full of energy after that. Hard to describe but I bet others felt it too.

I had tickets to that Nets game and I almost didn't go since it was the night before the Superbowl and I had to make some stuff for the party I was going to. I actually put them up for sale on Stubhub, but nobody bought them. Ended up going to the game with a friend anyway, since I didn't think it made sense to eat the tickets, and that's how I got to see the beginning of Linsanity in person.

Lol, I never would have forgiven myself. Though it could've been worse, a friend of mine is a season ticket holder for the Phillies and he sold his tickets to Roy Halladay's perfect game in the playoffs.

Originally I was going to make chili, nachos, and cupcakes that were going to be iced blue and red. Ended up just making some buffalo chicken nachos since there was no time. All in all, it was a damned great weekend.

Yeah, while I'm complaining as it pertains to the Knicks, it sucks for all the teams. I'd guess that a few of the teams have better schedules with more consistency, but I'm not about to check the validity of this assumption.

I hope you're right. I definitely think the depth on the team helps, but as today's game showed, it's not consistent depth. Today for instance, the two fist guards/shooting guards were absolutely useless and Iman could have been as well, but he found his stroke today. Jared provided just enough at the four to make up for Amare's lack of greatness this season (this game only).

I was out all day, so I didn't catch the game live, but the recaps and stats and the OT loss just suck.

I was doing the same thing but then I got the overseas league pass broadband. Just avoid looking at the score during the day and watch the game on demand later. Obviously, for a big game, I would stay up to watch live but for Knicks/Bobcats, might as well get some sleep

Yeah, but the owners and commish don't have to play, just reap the benefits and rewards (as even the losing teams get a share of profits/luxury tax threshold overages). Of course we all know this, but still...

You talk as if they're sitting under a tree eating apples, watching the grass grow. Owners and comish do WORK, grillco, TOUGHER WORK THAN THE BALLERS! Beh-lee-dat.

They're not just sitting there REAPING REWARDS, come on.

No, players threw a fork in the machine because they don't understand how the league works. And then they were sloppy in their execution- I remember they did something at a late stage of the negotiations that they should have done a lot earlier if they were gonna do it! So it's right, I think, to make them play back to back to backs; the lockout was senseless. Go Stern and Owners.
