that guy had so much god-given talent, it was incredible, he was just an absolute beast in the post. unfortunate he couldn't keep his weight in check, it really ruined his career.

Dude has some serius "Fat ALbert" look about him.

Great talent and seemed like a really good guy.

This is a guy at that weight and he plays basketball!

Imagine when he retires.

I'd worry about his health.

great kid. I hope he gets on the Kendrick Perkins diet. You cant get that way w/o sugar and fast food. He cuts that stuff out and he will lose 80 pounds in a year

Really sad that he ate himself out of the league.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

This guy is putting his life in danger being that big. It's so unhealthy even tho i'm sure he's able to move and do some things athletically. The stress on his heart and arteries will catch with him eventually. I hope he gets his weight under control.

Coming up on ten years.

I did a quick search and can't believe the old posts are still available thru google.

I can't find the original "check out Sweetney's Calves" post, but this one was a classic!

It was fun back in the day. Bonn is a good sport and we all have grown up.

Even Dido is on this!

A real shame- I remember that summer league where he had really worked on his body and was very toned and muscular for a few games. We thought he was going to be a beast, but the season came and he'd lost his shape and put on weight. It was all down hill from there. I think he never recovered from his dad dying- he was the reason Sweetney played basketball, if I remember correctly.

well he was never in shape. in college, he just had more mass than everyone. pretty sure he couldn't even do one 185 lbs. rep at the combine. never a good sign to be that weight and so weak heading into the pros
