Guy is like Spree and Starks combined into one man, a Superhero.

He will go down as a Knicks legend, but he will win a championship, so he is above Starks.

He's another lethal shooter who can fit well into this system. He came to this team and hit the ground running. As long as he stays out of trouble, he'll only help the Knicks.

Talent and fire, we can't have enough of it.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

He added a lot today. He and Novak on the perimeter provide the Knicks with a ton of options.

The more talent you have on the floor the harder it is on the defense. JR has that ability to create in addition to being a catch and shoot player.

I'm a big believer in seeing good in someone like JR when the roster is deep as ours is.

He won't be making as many bone headed plays when he's probably the 4th or 5th best player on the team.

Good teams can never have too much depth.

JR will be deadly on this team if he favors the catch and shoot more. I like his speed, and ability to create.

This is why I dont mind if he puts it on the floor. He has shown to be a willing passer and besides Lin and Melo, Smith can collapse the D and create something out of nothing.

smith did a good job. He even did well on dirk which is almost impossible considering the height

He sure seemed like a team guy out there tonight. It was nice to have him there when the offense wasn't working. He easily can create for himself, on drives and anything else. He played great defense as well, at least from what I saw.

Now, how do we find the free cap space to keep him? How much you think someone will offer him? If Stat continues this bad play (-18 tonight) we have to try to move him.

edit - Doesn't the new CBA have a restructuring provision? Maybe we can find some space...

The guy seems shaky in terms of his 'tude. I'll have to wait on this. His history is the way it is for a reason. I love his athleticism and shooting skills. Although I hate how he fades away. Not sure how he shoots his 3 pt shot at such a high clip like that.
