Nice hooker with fake tatas, spray tan and no booty.

this is a tough game. they need this win. i mean they should have won the last game this way if they were to lose today they would still be at .500.

This is the first game of a tough week for us- we could easily go 0-4 if we're not careful, and undo all of the good work from last week.

I haven't watched any of Dallas this season, not even any highlights, so I don't really know anything about them- I will say they are doing great considering their aging roster and sub-par season from Dirk. Vince usually comes to the Garden determined to have a big game- it'll be interesting to see Vinsanity vs Linsanity.

We need to raise our game- that 7 game win streak was great, but the schedule is much more difficult going forward, plus teams are extra motivated to beat us due to all the Lin hype. I think we need a real big game from Tyson (it seemed like he was holding himself back a bit the last game), to win this. It'll also be interesting to see how Lin reacts to the last game- will he rebound and play better, or will he wilt under the pressure and loss of confidence?

Actually, surprise news is Bill walker is out:

Jonah Ballow @jonahballow
@carmeloanthony & Bill Walker out. Shump will start at the 3. JR Smith & Baron Davis will dress & could see minutes today #Knicks

So I'd say the chances of risking JR smith and BD playing are higher.

Also surprising is Melo is now likely for tomorrow vs the Nets:

Jonah Ballow @jonahballow
D'Antoni expects @carmeloanthony to play tomorrow against Nets tomorrow. #Knicks

edit- BD looks doubtful for tonight:

Al Iannazzone @Al_Iannazzone
D'Antoni said Melo likely will play tomorrow. Baron is more probable tomorrow. If it's lopsided today he could play today.

From what I've read over the last week or so, Dirk is playing at an all-star level again. Haven't checked the stats though.

He had a rough early-season but he has been an ANIMAL in February:

He's nearing 34, the short season will hurt the older guys most.

If Walker out, could mean JR gets minutes.

I think it's more likely- but I'm not sure it's a good thing- he's had no practice time at all, and only arrived in NY last night. To make things worse his body clock still seems to be in China time- if you look at his twitter he seems to have been up since about 3am. Combine this with his love of jacking up shots, he could have a disasterous impact on the game.

Then again what are the alternatives? Toney Douglas? Mike Bibby?

Q. Then again what are the alternatives?

A. JR gets out of bed after three hours sleep, having been out all night enjoying his first night in the big city. JR forgets to set his alarm clock, or leave a request for a wake up call with the hotel concierge at The Marriott.

His taxi gets stuck in light Sunday morning traffic and is stopped by security at MSG with no ID. On the way to the court for pre game shootaround, Lin spots JR at the service entrance and vouches for him. JR rushes to get dressed and misses all his shots in pre game warmup.

D'Antoni puts him in late in the first quarter and he drains 5 straight jumpers. Nothing but net.
