I think that what we saw in Washington will continue where ever the Knicks play. Asians have been waiting for the void that Yao's retirement created. Plus the fact that Lin plays an exciting type of basketball. This will create a very good enviroment for us on away games.

It is already being reported that ASIAN TV has already picked a lot of Knick games. From China to Taiwan to the Philippines. Linsanity takes over NY then the nation then asia...soon...the WORLD!!!!

People on the radio keep saying that Lin is FROM Asia. This is not true folks. The man was born here in the US. It's his parents that were born in Asia. I hope media personalities learn this fact ASAP because he's Asian American, not Asian.

This is correct. Lin is a California boy.

Going off on a tangent here...Does California now overtake NY as the place for good PG's?

Big Bang Theory

The Asian American angle will be great for television ratings in China, and sales of merchandise at the NBA Store. Cool.

The coolest fan base for Lin and Landry is smart people.

Long live The Brainy Backcourt.

My co-worker is a 40 something Taiwanese dude who has been in the country for about 6 years. He was telling me about Jeremy Lin today!

I am the biggest Jeremy Lin fan because he brings hope, he's smart, and he wants to win.

I'm also the biggest Dantoni hater because he is none of those things.

Keep getting better as a team, fire Dantoni.

I'm only a fan because he's Asian. And because Isiah had nothing to do with him being here.

If D'Antoni goes, Lin likely goes, too. You realize this, right?

Ok, Im coining this:

LinCest: "The following of Asians interest in Jerry Lin because he is Asian first, then a really good basketball player second".

Im glad for the kid and hope he fulfills all his dreams. He worked super hard on his game and Harvard is no cake walk either.

Im a fan for his athletic and academic achievements. This is just a good story anyway you look at it. If people of chinese heritage can take pride in him and his achievements that is wonderful!

And best of all: HE IS A KNICK!

not a thing wrong with a guy's ethnicity bringing in fans. If this fires up the Asian community then welcome to our suffering.

Glad the coach finally got a PG to work with here. MDA + a good PG + a good PG = a whole lotta hope. Maybe we finally have our mix here after like 100 tries
