All Novak needed was the PnR to be working so that he can get open. Lin and Tyson is so effective it opens up shots for Novak.

JVG said that Novak is the best shooter he has ever seen. He would pick him over any shooters right now playing in the NBA.

Can we combine Novak and Jeffries into a single player?

he is a smart player a son of a coach so he knows basketball, he is not a great one on one defender but a very good team defender.

I like Novak a lot for his incredible shooting. Obviously, some of these players have flaws. Put them around guys who make up for the flaws with their strengths and you have a good combo. Novak is not a good defensive player, but we have Chandler, Jeffries, Shumpert, etc... so Novak isn't so exposed, IMHO. He needs to get minutes, considering how poor the rest of our three point shooters are.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The whole idea of adding Novak was to get a stretch 4 for the team and MDA has to have one of those for how he likes to play. You can see how much of a difference it makes to the spacing to have that guy or a SG that can hit from deep. Novak makes more sense with Lin, cuz when the spacing and ball movement wasn't there he was less effective. Now he can do his thing.

I do not think it is a spacing issue as much as a playing time issue. He is playing more three than four now. If he was on the floor earlier in the season with Amare and Melo I think his shooting could have created the spacing. There were many times the right pass was made to the corner or the wing to Jorts, Walker, and etc. Is Lin helping with Novak yes yes yes but he has to be on the court. When Lin makes the pass to Walker it is just not the same.

Exactly!

And Novak's D isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. He also had 5 boards in limited minutes.

Gallo is soft, Chandler isn't focused, Felton is fat, Mozgov is a stiff, Lin is a D-Leaguer, Novak doesn't play D! I'M SICK OF KNICK FANS & MEDIA BASHING THEIR YOUNG PLAYERS AND NOT REALIZING WHAT THEY HAD UNTIL THEY ARE GONE. ENOUGH!

+1. Novak has an amazing touch and with Lin on the floor he is exceling. He had some phenomenal percentages from 3pt range and the foul line in college.

It's a beautiful thing.

Shift du LA

Lin, directing offensive traffic
Landry, "Stanford and Harvard together now you know you in trouble..."
Novak, from deep
Jeffries, inside doing work
Chandler, The Captain, directing defensive traffic

Shump as the sixth man, "go strong young man..."
Bill Walker, rebound and forget the three's
Bibby, 15 minutes - get on a leg machine and get some arc in your shot

Novak and Fishlips starting... hard to be positive about that lineup against the KobePauPau's

On the bright side, maybe we see "TD with the DNP"

One must ask why the Answer man is beating the dead Bibby horse? You killing the flies, my man?
