They can now both see that its about the team not them and their Max Salaries. They needed to see this so that they can completely defer to Lin and not be un-supportive. He also needs to touch the ball on every posession - no more of; whoever gets the rebound runs and pops. No more Cancer-ISO's.

Team ball or sit!

The Jazz are solid and they were doubling Lin all night. That should not happen with Melo and Amare - if they play right.

They just see they finally have a pg again. A pg makes everything better. Now we have two guys that can run the PnR. It's a beautiful thing.

These guys understand all of that. They also understand that without a PG they were out of their element and with a PG you will see a different style from them.

I am not sure that Melo can/will defer to a PG. Lin touched the ball on every posession. With Melo that might change and that can be bad. I don't know if he will allow the offense to completely run through Lin and no more 1 on 1 BS.

If he buys in, there are not many scorers that I would rather have on my team.

Melo will buy in. The 1 on 1 BS will be left or when we need a bucket with 5 seconds left.

He's smart he will buy in. He understands he was at his best with Billups and Iverson handling the ball as much or more than him. He knows it will make it easier for him to get his scoring opportunities and stay within his comfort zone.

It was like old times, only more fun. I want to see this team with Amar'e first. Let Melo rest. Today's depleted but hardworking and exciting group plus Amar'e will feel like the pre-Melo Knicks Lite.

The best thing about tonight besides Lin will hopefully be the increased playing time of Novak.

I certainly hope you are right. With him playing unselfish and with what JLin can do with Tyson - we can be freaky good. We could even be careful with Amare and only play him 30 mins a game. JJ looked really good SMH and Novak will get open looks with the penetration.

Its a Holiday in NY! Giants win a SB and JLin turns into a star - this is fun!

You might get your wish, groin injuries can be a real sob to get over if you don't rest.

Well lets hope he lays off the Groin. And so does everyone else for a while - we need him healthy.

La La might put him on IR for the rest of the season if he doesn't watch out.

Novak is only an asset if we have penetration. He cannot create his own shot

Despite being in foul trouble, when he was on the floor Tyson was dominant tonight. I think he and Amare have a lot to work out as well.

Gotta love discovering great talent you had all along buried at the end of the bench...Lin's emergence should make everyone's jobs easier, especially Amare and Melo's.
