I don't understand your thinking process. You think Tyson and STAT are blaming D'Antoni?

Lee (14 points) and Goran Dragic (16 points) could start for the Knicks, who continue to get virtually nothing from their starting backcourt. Landry Fields went scoreless in 18 minutes 24 seconds, missing the only two shots he took. Toney Douglas had 7 points, going 3 for 13. Houston also got 19 points from Chase Budinger, and 14 points and 11 rebounds from Jordan Hill, a former Knicks draft pick.

The point guard situation is such a complete mess that D’Antoni resorted to using third-string Harvard alum Jeremy Lin for the game’s final 20 minutes.
Amar’e Stoudemire sounded graver than ever, and ripped some players for not preparing for games and not learning from mistakes, seemingly trying to protect D’Antoni for this wreckage. Stoudemire also agreed this 1-9 stretch is probably the low point of his Knicks stint.
“We got to start reading the board before games,’’ Stoudemire, who had 23 points, said. “We have to prepare ourselves better as individuals. Coaches give the game plan. We have to be ready to execute the game plan. If we’re not ready to execute the game plan, we’re not helping our teammates.’
“We have to learn to comprehend and learn from our mistakes and right now we’re not doing that,’’ Stoudemire added. “The only thing that could put a smile on my face is my kids and they’re not in New York. It’s not a great feeling right now.’’

Maybe the game plan doesn't fit the players... Maybe that's why after 20 games they still can't "Comprehend" it... ever think of that?

Gameplan doesn't fit the players? STAT has been an ALL STAR playing in this system for 8 years. STAT, Melo, Fields, TD, Walker & Jared all played in this system last year when it was the #2 scoring team in the league. They know what they need to do. Tyson is a PnR player and has had no trouble blending in. Bibby just isn't that good anymore, but he knows what his role is. Shump is a rook and it would be understandable if he get's confused from time to time. There's no excuse for TD, Fields, Walker, Melo not to know what to do. They've played in this system before. The clear issue is that none of them are PG's that create for others. They're the receivers that get setup for shots and they aren't doing as well trying to execute without a PG. They do the right thing once in a blue moon and then they go back to making brainless mistakes. STAT is saying they've got to stick to the gameplan and do what the coaches have been instructing and not deviate from that.

Do me a favor and please stop trying to argue with me regarding this team unless you have something logical to say. Your counter arguments make no sense.

TC played for MDA in the olympics, as did melo, and Amare for most of his career.

They looked forward to playing in this system.

He did more with less last season.

So why the problem?

Fans are sick of losing is one thing. projecting their frustrations as if they are players is comical.

Oh we don't have a point guard. Okay... So that means that our offense should play like a lottery team? with this type of talent? You don't think that the inbound plays at the end of games are so predictable? how many times have we run the same out of bounds play that teams already know what's coming? The lakers have Derek Fisher he isn't exactly a great passer. We had to bring in a defensive coach to help MDA with defense because he had us ranked last just like every other team he's coached. He got fired from Phx for a reason he wasn't that great of a coach. I remember Billups throwing him under the bus last season about his coaching. How do MDA's balls taste by the way?

Wake up and smell the coffee & D'Antoni's stinky feet while you're at it!

Amare says the only thing that he scored 2pts! OR a Slam dunk on all season which stated "We're not prepared to Play"

How simple can that statement be brother ?

NixLuva you're 1 of 1 1/2 peoples on this good Forum board supporting D'Antoni from day #1
well Brother its Day 4th year of the $24 Million dollar-man 4 yr useless excuse Coach.

Coach is being said by a Star & Former Phoenix Sun player he worked & won with "Team is unprepared"

That sounds correct to me buddy!
That also sounds like you're on the verge of losing the team when Stoudemire whose season has been less than Stealth
also calls out teammates & rips them publicly.

There is no control nor leadership on this team supporting Coach D'Antoni.
If The NY Knicks was as talented as Miami Heat, well likewise when LBJ, Bosh and Wade don't feel like listening to coach Erik
the HEAT does whatever they want on the floor as undisciplined as ever BUT Miami is talented enough to squeak out the WINs.

Doesnt seem like too many Knicks are listening to great Coach D'Antoni.
Dont seem like it to me & lots and lots of Knick Fans

Whether its liked OR not too bad Poke & Stick a Fork In Mike D'Antoni he's done !
We'll come back up here on board and talk about it when the Coach get's axed whenever that occurs.

I guess I'm one of those 1 1/2 peoples. The PG is the coach's eyes and voice on the floor. We have the two worst decision makers playing the point for us. Shump was deemed a horrible decision maker coming into the draft, TD always has been and is useless without a shot. The spurts of good decision making from Shump in the first couple of games playing the point just showed how easy it should be for us to play somewhat efficient offense.

But we can't fire the players, so the coach it is. Bring on Woodson, IT and whatever offense he'll conjure up.

Management is going to give MDA about 15 games after Baron Davis comes back. If the team is still losing like crazy, then MDA will get the axe.

Precisely agreed. Forgot to add 50% of players not in scope of trade since R. Felton and Chandler isn't there. Recall Felton cited as missing piece is now a blazer. Georgie Karl is Zen master 2! A genius Second to phil jackson. . LOL

It's true that MDA needs a PG, not unlike every other coach. Also true that this roster has only one healthy pg and we all know that he was not starting caliber or good enough to get playing time on just about any other NBA team. But he is the best we got. MDA couldn't't figure that out? Now, why did it take a quarter of a season for him to play? Now our morale is down, fingers are starting to be pointed, at this point I just hope its not too late.

This thread is what is wrong with so many people on the forum. Twisting the words by players . Amare and Chandler were actually defending Dantoni. In the post today- "Stoudemire deflects heat from Knicks coach D'Antoni"
"At the very least, embattled Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni has the support of Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler.
Those players’ cutting postgame remarks late Saturday night in Houston were aimed at their teammates, not at a coaching staff under fire."

You guys actually have common sense and reading comprehension!!! I don't know what the other guys are talking about. They talk so much garbage and make up so much crap it's embarrassing. That's why I try to use logic and fully explain what I think the issues are. If someone disagrees based on FACTS or LOGIC then that's cool, but to just show bias and twist every news article to try and support that bias is lame. They can call me names like an 8 yr old, but in the end they're only embarrassing themselves.
