Seriously I never do this but i've never seen a PG play worse than Douglas did tonight, the amount of bad decisions was COUNTLESS.... I don't care about his shot going in or not... i'm talking just simply about his decisions with the basketball... I never seen anyone so bad... he dribbles the clock down to 8 seconds left and does absolutely nothing with it then forces up some crap... he never uses picks correctly... he tries to run plays even when they fall apart which leads to turnovers.. he can't improvise and read the defense he is so predictable and easy to cut off any move he tries to make.. not to mention HE PICKS UP HIS DRIBBLE if you pressure him AT ALL...

I can't watch this guy anymore

Worse game by a Knick SG acting as PG okay now maybe you have an argument.
As much as I cant stand to watch TD, we have to acknowledge that he is not a point guard.
The real problem is, when moving him to a position more suited for his style of play(SG), he still sucks.

ya the guy didn't even expect to start this year. he is better coming off the bench. Like i said before people use role players as scapegoats instead of the stars. Amare hasn't had a good year but he is starting to come arounf a little, and the other guy i am critucal of but i would change my perception if he actually helped the team instead of hurting them

If he dribbles it off his off then fine, but I want to see what he can do. TD and Bibby is not cutting it.

The only hope we have is that Lin can get in there and play well and hold it down until Baron can get up to speed. Grunwald is holding on to that Room Exception for either KMart or JR. TONEY is unwatchable. He stops his dribble so easily and throws the dumbest passess from half court. He has literally ZERO PG instincts. Grunwald brought in Bibby, but he's too old and slow to really do anything we need our PG to do. There are just too many wasted Possessions. I thought STAT was gonna kill TD and Walker for a minute there.

Baron and Lin can't get in there soon enough for me. Looked like everything was setup for this team to win this game tonight but we couldn't get any PnR for STAT or Tyson. The plays were there all night too.

STAT and Chandler were both gonna kill him. Post pretty much sums everything up.

Holy crap! The PGs job is not to score a little. His job is to setup his teammates to score. His job is to set the pace and in this case to PUSH the pace. TD does neither of this. Douglas hurts the team a LOT.

Why are you so sure? And you would rather keep watching TD and Bibby do their thing? There is nothing there.

Lin does have talent. I think he has more of the skills we need a PG to have, but I also know that it's not easy to run this offense and Lin had not chance to learn it like everyone else. Some people keep bashing MDA for not putting Lin in there, but that's just ignorance talking! You have very little respect for what it takes to run the offense, but real PG's understand that you need time to learn what to do since you're going to be the QB of the offense. Ask Billups, Felton or Duhon how easy it is to run this offense. It's easier for a real PG, but if you aren't good at running PnR and feeding others off of that basic play it can be tough. Some guards just don't run PnR. Billups really never has and Felton wasn't doing it a lot either. We've been unable to land a PG that is a natural at running it. Imagine if we did.

They've tried to get guys like Ridnour and even Sessions, but things just haven't worked out. I'm hoping and praying that Lin can get the hang of this so we can replace TD at the point and have a cushion for Baron to take his time in coming back.

Both Lin and TD suck. End of discussion. Why are people arguing which **** is worse than the other?

i understand he's really a sg, but when you are forced to assume the pg role, you cold at least try and impersonate a pg.

No more excuses for this scrub. He should never see playing time in the NBA. For it's like a death by thousand cuts to watch this moron butcher his offense day after day after day. He should be back where he belongs in the D-League.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!
